**Boruto arrives to save Sarada and the other Konoha ninja. Boruto leaves the unconscious Himawari in Konohamaru's care when suddenly, Hidari attacks Boruto. Boruto blows him away, Hidari retreats into one of the laid out Claw Marks. Hidari is shown in an unknown location, on top of a Daihakoten, healing. After healing quickly from presumed Divine Tree roots, he returns behind Sarada and Boruto. As Boruto prepared his Rasengan: "Uzuhiko", Sarada protected Boruto from Hidari's sneak attacks through the Clawk Marks. Konohamaru uses "Rasen Barrier" to prevent the sneak attack. Boruto explained to Konohamaru the nature of Hidari, revealing how he was a product of Sasuke being devoured by a Claw Grime. Hearing how this related to Moegi, Konohamaru decided to help Boruto. The God Tree summoned several Claw Grimes. Upon Boruto hitting Hidari with his new Rasengan, Kawaki appeared to finish off Hidari, obliterating him. Boruto then discovered Hidari's Thorn Soul Bulb, which he explained can save Sasuke. Suddenly, Jūra sniped Boruto down with a blast and retrieved the bulb, deciding that Boruto must be eliminated as a threat and Kawaki will be preserved for consumption.

Ppl was saying Hidari is weak off of this chapter. But a lot of ppl didn’t realize that Hidari was never focused on Boruto n and he blitzed sarada twice (even if she did counter). Instead of grabbing her he could’ve dealt game dealing blows.

lol. serious answer though, the chapter dropped in august, but this was already done in july. mangaka usually already have story drafts and storyboards done done well before you see the release. this chapter was already printed up and sent to stores around the 10th, well before trump got shot.

The panel when Boruto hit Hidari in the back with his standard Rasengan reminded me of Minato hitting the masked man. It's going to look almost the same when animated. The difference will be Hidari escaping into claw marks. On Sumire, it's a shame she spent all that time in a lab and lost a step to the point she needed to get side lined. Back in the academy, she was able to swap hands with Mitsuki and still has access to Nue. That Sumire would be useful in a fight, especially if she's kept up with her training. Edit: should of known...you saw the same thing lol. That's what I get for commenting early.

My review: Well it was clear that something had changed. I think Shikamaru had given them orders to listen to his plan or they gave him a shot bc he saved Sarada. Secondly Kawaki grew. He choose to follow himawari instead of Boruto when he flew over. He's still suspicious but he has priorities. The concept of thorn soul is very is very interesting since it explains how grimes become shinju. Maybe the dna Of the soul needs to be transfered back into the captured tree and than Sasuke frees himself. The end was also interesting..i literally said boruto had to be nerfed and it happened. The same way oswald got trump and Pain got Kakashi. Him being injured creates less resistance for momo. I predict an inner battle between them and boruto is shown like Obito-zetsu

I thought this chapter was cool, however I felt like Sarada could’ve done more. It isn’t as overblown as people are making it. But the ending annoyed me a lot. Boruto was gonna finish off hidari only for kawaki to do it and distract Boruto instead of jura. When Kawaki and Delta could’ve went after jura still knowing himawari was fighting him. They need to get Sumire back in her bag, I know she CHOOSES not fight anymore but she has to get back into it

I have a theory that Himawari will become the new generation genius medic kunoichi.. she has insane regenerative abilities (like 100 healings jutsu) she cna heal others from deadly wounds and she is very sensitive to others. Also i find it strange that until now Sakura didn’t make an appearance. It’s just me but i can imagine Himawari being trained by Sakura and becoming the new Medic-Warrior (also because team 7 nobody is very focused on becoming a medic)

I think. Hidari is coming back. Jura will plant his bulb somewhere in the Juubii Shinju dimension to grow back. Sarada will get her 1 v 1 and show her MS. Sarada is not using sharingan regularly because she might be training for the Byakugo seal. Someone better heal Boruto fast or Momoshiki will show up. Jura will either retreat to save Hidari or Will attack now than we'll get Kawaki K2 or K3 + delta +++ vs Jura. But Momoshiki will come out or Sarada will awaken her MS with time manipulation abilities and Jura will get shook and retreat. Or Momoshiki give Jura trouble and he retreat but than we'll have a Momoshiki problem. Kashin Koji will have to do something about it! 😊

Jura really has the making of being a long term villain that pushes the newer generation forward and a goal to get stronger. I like his character a lot. Boruto being the only new gen character who has battle & fighting IQ needs to change quickly. But Boruto 2V Vortex manga has been absolute fire since chapter one. I hope the anime does it justice and makes the series more serious to where we the viewers can feel the tension & actually feel like characters will die while watching that’s what made Naruto such an enjoyable watch for me.

I legit was shocked about how well their teamwork was done in chapter 12, they were all in sync and understood boruto's plan even though they got a little annoyed by him bossing them around.
