boruto is different from sarada. Boruto is much more open about his feelings and very similar to naruto which is why they took longer to click after he became hokage. Sarada was sad to not be able to see her dad but she was more understanding from the start. He was the savior of the world and all, but he was still too young, and didn't complete the necessary steps into becoming Hokage, as he was still a Genin officially, so Kakashi had to become Hokage while Naruto had to go through the ranks just like everybody else until it was his time to become Hokage. The same will happen to Sarada most likely when she's experienced enough. Konohamaru will be the 8th Hokage, followed by Sarada as the 9th.
