Some slight variations on the original layout that look to make sense. Thanks for the video.

I have two 18V 2.0 Ah Bosch batteries. Since they look nearly identical, I'm assuming the only difference is that the 2.0Ah version only has 5 batteries instead of 10?

i rebuilt mine using LG cells torn out from old laptop batteries. Reused the old connecting plates and soldered them instead of spot welding. Works perfectly.

a proper diy method. Everyone has old laptops they arent using and a soldering iron.

Thank you so much for the video, I have photos of the fuse in my 6.0Ah pack, because the fuse is Open Circuit. Struglling to find a replacement, I know the physical size is Axial Lead 2AG, but don't know the rating. Any assistance?

don't you have more wires to balance the cells?
@pedropablovivaspaez66822 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the share. My pack is an 18v 4.0 Ah Li-ion battery and it stopped charging. The actual voltage is 14V. The fuse is Ok and I descard the possibility of damage batteries. I think the BMS is the problem. The charger is ok becquse I have an additional battery pack the works well. Any idea or hint?. Thanks.
@MUuulerOriginal2 жыл бұрын
Definitely a dead set of batteries. 14V is extremely low discharged and therefore most likely one set of dead batteries.

Samsung, LG, Varta. I'm not sure about Toshiba and Sony but they seem to do the job. Of course read datasheet before

why every two battery connected parallel then 4 group connected series what happen if i connect all battery in series it will proceed volt right? or this damage charge circuit? please illustrate
@pmarquisYT3 жыл бұрын
If you connect the 10 batteries in series you will get a 36V battery. You need to use the same arrangement he did in the video.
@mrmemoo44833 жыл бұрын
@@pmarquisYT 36better than 18 !!
3 жыл бұрын
@@mrmemoo4483 Yes, but actually no. This case has only ability to handle 4s systems. There are too little pins for balancing circuit in charger. Moreover parallel connections are also to prevent too large current flow through a single cell with the same current flow through battery. Of course you probably would damage devices connected to battery modified in this way.

@@wajeehulhassan2182 you'd have to rewire the cells inside the battery, but if u used the 18v battery in a machine rated for 14.4v you'd probably burn i out but I can't be sure off the top of my head I'd have to look for a schematic
