You can hook up any 12 volt DC adapter to the battery for an hour or so to bring up its voltage just enough so that this Bosch charger can detect it and start charging.

Yes, C7 will work better for larger batteries. You can charge batteries while they are mounted, just don't put key in the vehicle, keep it off.

This charger has a 2 pin 6A plug which plugs into any wall socket, no need for any special outlet. Battery vent caps don't need to be opened as all automotive batteries are valve regulated, meaning they aren't sealed.

Thanks! For smaller AGM batteries, motorcycle battery mode should be selected because AGM node would charge battery at a much higher charging current so it is suitable only for AGM car batteries of larger capacities. However you can try and check which mode works best for your batteries.

In my car 12V 45Ah battery is installed I tried to charge it it keeps on charging on 6V after some time it goes to float mode it doesn't switch to car 12V mode after pressing the mode button.. that means battery is dead ??

At the moment yes, however charger should switch to 12 volt mode after it charges the battery for a while at 6 volts because it should automatically detect the actual voltage eventually. You can try charging the battery with some taper charger or from local garage, then try using this charger, it should work then.

@@M-DIY thanks a lot, I again tried to charge it this time it didn't switch to floating mode but keeps on charging on 6V, for around 4-5 hrs, but now my car seltos starts behaving weirdly, start stop button keeps on flashing 😄😄 I have to switch off charger, will try to disconnect terminal from battery & try to charge it or take it to local shop, problem is in Gurgaon these mechanics are always keen to sell new batteries instead of charging the older ones, I had bitter exp in past, this time I watched your video and decided to order this bosch C3 charger, you explained it in a very good manner 👍

If we measure the output of a 12 volt 60 ah battery... Fully charged... what will be the reading shown in multi meter.... because I charged my car battery fully and it's showing 13.66 volts in multi meter.... 🙄🙄🙄

Freshly charged battery will show above 13.5 volts (open circuit). In a day or too, it will settle at around 13 volts for AGM batteries and 12.8 volts for lead acid batteries. These voltages are for new batteries because with age, voltages drop.

No issues for most of the cars, just make sure engine is off, i. e. key should be on totally off position so that charger doesn't interfere with car's electronics at all and when charging is done, disconnect charger and then only use vehicle because some cars, especially BMW types are too sensitive, even for changing batteries you need get them reset from service center.

Hmm, I never charged a fully drained bike battery, but most probably under 5 hours. Generally motorcycle batteries aren't drained fully, because they aren't deep cycle batteries and doing so will severely reduce life of the battery as well.

Bro bina use kare kehna mushkil hai but uske reviews mixed hai. Uske circuitry ke baare mein bhi thoda doubt hai mujhe, because 1000 mein simple transformer type ke quality chargers bhi nahi milte, so SMPS ki life ka doubt hai. Main samajhta hoon bro, ek battery charger ke liye 3k kaafi zyaada paise hote hai, but market mein koi aur acha charger nahi hai filhaal. Iski reliability and performance bohot achi hai, 4 ampere charger ki cost ke hisaab se 3k sahi hai.

Chinese and Bosch ke beech price difference kaafi kam hai, toh usse behtar toh main Bosch ko hi lena maanta hoon. Agar cheap mein koi charger chahiye toh transformer based taper chargers aate hai, lekin usko zyaada der mat laga chhodo battery pe, ya fir jo aapne bataya digitronix ka charger, vo aata hai. Baaki aapko leke try karna padega, kyonki maine inko use nahi kara hai toh zyaada kuch nahi keh paunga.

Thia is true! It is because this is a microprocessor controlled smart charger that needs some voltage from the battery to sense it. But it is very rare when battery voltage drops below 8 volts for a 12 volts battery. Only when you leave your headlights on or something for a day or two, it weakens battery that severely and you can only drain a battery this far a few times before it is permanently destroyed. Solution: If you have any 12V power adapter, you can connect it to bring battery voltage above 8 volts and then connect to it the charger. It is not a big problem like some Amazon reviewers make it look though.

My car battery was drained to 6V and c7 charger wasn't able to charge it. It was always going in standby mode. This charger is only useful if you do not drive your car regularly and still want your battery to remain charged .

If a 12V battery is severely discharged to 6V a couple of times it is useless anyway because of overly deep discharge. Normal chargers may charge it, but that battery will not last much.

For cars as I said in the video, Bosch C7 is best, it charges big batteries much faster than C3. If you mostly charge big batteries (like in cars) go for C7, but if you have to charge both small batteries (like in motorcycles) and big ones alike, pick C3.

Why does the c3 charger produce tik-tik sound when connected to charge a battery?

It makes clicking sound when you press button to charge the battery, that sound is of relays inside and it is normal. Occasionally its relays may turn on and off depending on the charge cycle, so while charging you will notice their clicks.

Agar battery ki voltage 8 voltage se kam hogi toh yeh usko nahi pehchaan payega, lekin aisa kaafi rarely hota hai aur agar aisa zyaada kara aapne toh battery kuch baar mein hi kharaab ho jayegi. 12 volt ke kisi bhi power adapter se connect karke aap battery ko thoda sa charge karlo, fir isse charge ho jayegi, maine aisa kara hua hai.
