Bosch classixx 6 goes bang

So testing this bosch classixx 6 for functionality, when it trips the garage sockets. turning it back on it goes bang..

@@whichwasher2007 i've got that problem too with a beko washing machine. It was a faulty wire touching it's metal casing

If it would be an insulation fault the RCD would have tripped as it would have shorted to ground. Maybe check the NTC. It's basicly a semi-conductor and when semi-conductors go wrong, the behaviours get really weired. Maybe it just shorts out once it gets beyond 70C.

What as the IR on this? Its gonna need a heater - when it gets hotter IR decreases

If replacing the heater does not help, then replacing the motor brushes.

Its deiffinatly the heater. The bang came from the front. And unlike most other manufacturers. The heater on this exits from the front of the tub.

Control Child lock switched on ?. Mabey the pad for the start button worn out. Do the option buttons work?

Why don’t you just get your meter on it and check the insulation reading and change the element? This will probs cost you a fortune in electric when you could have saved yourself hours

the cycles were to clean all the dog hair and hey out. while waiting for it to go bang again. ill get a element on order.

whichwasher2007 check the brushes too mate although that’s not the fault these go through brushes a lot and with it probably edging on for 10 years it might make it last longer for you/ whoever you sell it to :)
