They are quiet in cooling but loud in heat, especially for an inverter. Still more work to do imo on these. Running an ids 2.0

Sure great for Phoenix NO HUMIDITY ! Also for a cold dry climate. But for mid Atlantic and southeast, it simply won’t dehumidify .there is nothing wrong with it , it’s designed that way. Size, price, thermostat agnostic ,are good points, great at efficient heating but it simply doesn’t can’t handle humidity….she is very forthright-we wnat a dumb thermostat, we don’t want. A variable speed fan, etc….THATS. Why it wont control humidity. It will fight to maintain that cool o efficiently indifferent to humidity. Great solution for Phoenix, poor portion for Atlanta….latent comfort is as if not more important than simply cooling.

I can here to post the same concern. Here in Florida, we need that latent cooling or the homeowner will be calling back. Actually, I just thought that if they had a matching AH that could determine the wet bulb of the air flowing over the coils then they could adjust the refrigerant flow to keep the saturated temp lower than the WB.

Did you guys activate the overcooling dipswitch on the condenser? Supposedly it runs evap coil colder/hotter for dehumidification. Im in DMV area so not much humidity compared to Southeast states, but there can be months with crazy high humidity in the summer. I have installed a 15 seers without overcooling activated for my cousin 2 years ago, no complaints from them.
