My Bosch GSR 18V 2Li is smoking and sparking. If I change the whole motor will it fix the issue? I am not that skilled to do all this delicate work with cleaning parts and pieces. Thanks

I think you have to clean the copper part well with sandpaper and brushes replace...

What is the screw driver size i should use to remove the housing of GSR 10.8 drill?

The necessary screw is a torx I think T9 but I'm not sure..

The first thing you need to do is open the device and check for burnt components. And the second thing you need to check is the 3 wires where the battery main connectors are soldered. It happens very often that one of the three cables detaches from the connector. And if you push the trigger fully, nothing happens, there is no electricity. That would be the first thing they would have to check. If that is ok, then you have to measure the trigger switch directly with a multimeter to see if the current is even reaching the trigger, it should be 18v. And at the end you also have to measure the engine if the problem is not in the trigger. Basically, you have to be systematic to isolate the problem.
