I'm learning so much from your videos. I just got an 88 Audi 200 turbo with K lambda. I'd love to know the story of why Audi used Hitachi electronics on the MC engine instead of Bosch. The car has an issue where it goes lean under higher boost / rpm, but at lower load it regulates perfectly, even going rich when the full load switch closes. (I've fitted a widebad o2 sensor). I hope to tear into it soon, my first suspect is plugged filters that can't handle the flow.

@ just did a fuel flow test. The book says 700cc in 30 sec, my car did just under 450cc. I think I've found the issue.... There was no screen on the fuel distributor inlet. I suppose since the fuel filter is about 3" from the distributor they didn't think it was necessary!

Im building a non stock k-jet setup on an originally ke equipped Mercedes m119, using m117 k jet system. I'm wondering if i can use the ke air meter assembly which has a mushroom shaped flap instead of a flat plate, with the m117 k jet fuel distributor, or if it will throw things out of calibration as far as fuel per movement of the plate? Id love to chat with you about it if possible.
