Thanks for taking the time to post the video. I have the same drill, which just stopped working after a short while. I don't know if the problem was the drill battery or charger. I stumbled across the drill the other day, just need to find the charger - I'd like to bring it back to life. Now I know how to attack the battery area if I figure that's the problem. Cheers.

good luck. It is still working perfect for me. And another thing, you can always go for Lithium-ion :) just then you will have to change the charging system. But simplest thing is just to replace the elements inside. Costs cheaper than cheapest knock of, you just have to invest time :D but i guess half an hour is not that much

Hi, thanks for the great video, also have the same battery issue. I hope I'll find the right size of battery, however it is not easy to realize the real size in the webshops. Could you please help where can I found such short LiMH 2800mAH batteries?

Hi, try on ebay :) If you would put next to the type of battery "drill" should give you the needed ones. And in ebay look at enough listings you will find dimensions in some :)

Since you changed the batteries, has it worked fine now? No more issues?

it is working perfectly, and battery last longer. Maybe not as long as the capacity suggest on the batterie but definitely longer. I guess thats a common issue since i seen other people complaining about this online .

yet again another KZbin cowboy bottcher amateur, 2 things 1-- he should have disassemble and taken out the batteries measure the size of them, 2- test them each with his meter, maybe one or two have problems, ...so keep cost and work load down...also clean up as you go along ...dirty work bench English Mike, ( Euro fighter electronics engineer RAF )
