I did a Google search for this system and yr YT video came up. The sound had recently been cutting out, and when I used the volume button on the remote, the volume cut out completely, and then returned after a delay. Bose support had me unplug the system to do a type of reset. But now the universal remote no longer talks to the system at all. The man said it should work automatically. And the connection was lost and he didn’t call me back. I found a list of codes to try to pair the device, but the only thing that happened so far was the tv power did turn off. But still no control for the Bose system, so I have been unable to test the system, to see if the reset was a success to get the volume working again with consistent sound versus intermittent. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for watching my channel. Please disconnect the Sensor module and reconnect it. Else there is a possibilty your batteries might need replacing which you need to try first in the remote. Then tell me if there is a light in the sensor module when pressing the bose remote? The remote does not need any code to work in the Bose system. If all fails check the serial number on the bose site because there is a recall on this system aswell. Even if it is out of warranty.

You can plug an amazon echo dot into, or any other alexa device into the RCA adapters and use the amazon echo in its bluetooth mode, same concept.

Correct, You can also use the Echo Dot the same way. The reason I used Echo Auto because it does not have any speakers which makes it slim and tiny compared to Amazon Echo Dot. But you can use your Echo Dot’s 3.5 jack output into any system or even convert 3.5 Jack to Twin RCA. Just keep the level low because RCA usually work on low fixed volume.

@@thespecialist786I made a mistake and ended up with an 85 “ tv over fireplace so no room for Bose sound bar thing. It’s old school but it’s BRAND NEW, Bose soundtouch130 Just wish I could figure this out.

You can use Alexa with a smart plug and that way you can get Alexa to turn it on and off.

You can use Alexa as a Bluetooth and you don’t need to use the Bluetooth module
