I'm interested in the project and I'd love to see if, but I'm not sure I can work on it right now. I've got a lot of work to do for my thesis proposal! :D

I guess, to be able to say about identity of atom - state of this atom needs to be in a Markov blanket.

Ooh, being in a Markov blanket is another interesting idea for metaphor. Maybe containing relevent information could be compared to voting representation.

@@Thinkstr I guess it could. But then again, rules of Cobra Kai Dodjo (I've seen only first 3 seasons) are not inherently and universally bad. People inside get sense of purpose and unity (people outside are being hurt, but "who cares"). Problem is - such group is bad statisticall model of world. Such buisness wouldn't survive in real world, it is obvious. Police, lawsuits, etc. Another thing that I said that "who cares about outsiders". Thing is, it is hardwired in us to care about others. It is hardwired on very abstract level, but it is there (as follows from work of Panksepp). So, such group would require from it's members good ability of eighther supressing this need or dehumanising outsiders. Soviet ideology was qite humane in this regard but it failed to acknowledge that drive to play with position on social hierarchy is basic need on the same level as need to drink (only it is much more abstract and can take very different, symbolic forms). Soviet ideology allowed huge diversity, but inevitably lead Soviet Union to having bad internal model of outside world and thus it lost.

@@Thinkstr Hey, I was wondering, do you want to write some paper sometime? I get it, it is easy for you to do Baesian neural network simulations. And I could provide somehting from neuroscience or psychiatry or neuropsychoanalytical perspective.

@@VK-sz4it You're definitely right Cobra Kai isn't entirely bad. When we see how Kreese and Silver were in Vietnam, it's clear that Cobra Kai served a purpose for them which Lawrence brought to kids in the valley, sometimes in a great way. And Miyagi-do definitely has issues; LaRusso is so concerned about Cobra Kai that Silver can tug his leash too easily. I'm still learning about the Free Energy Principle, and the relationship between "complexity" and "accuracy" are very interesting to me like this. Caring too much about complexity can restrict posterior knowledge to prior knowledge, rejecting new things we didn't expect. Caring too much about accuracy can lead to forgetting old things just because they don't seem relevant at the moment. It's tough to balance.
