QC 25 will address some of the issues being raised. It is a little brighter on the sound quality, and is able to play music without battery, even though the audio quality is compromised as a result. By the way, I have QC 15, and it is a very clear and beautiful sound quality. For acoustic songs, and cleaner bass this is the pair to pick up.

because these headphones, u have to raise the volume to 100% to block surrounding noise (hopefully) irritating ur ear and killing ur listening enjoyment however with the noise cancelling headphones at 50% u can enjoy ur music safely for ur ears and enjoying it at low volumes between 70-80% because sometimes when the volume become very high it starts to ruin certain details in the song
@Fadooola711 жыл бұрын
headphones are meant to be used only for listening to music, but nowadays some people like to cary them on the neck in public and that's not a bad thing, I own both beats and bose and I use Bose for home usage or for travel and I use beats when I go outside

cleans up your music if your using crappy mp3 files by getting rid of static. Adds clean volume without distortion. Gives your music a little bit more detail in the mids and highs and there's a bass boost if you ever want a lil thump.
@Fadooola711 жыл бұрын
it's not about hatred, Bose and Beats are very well-known companies and their prices are identical, the difference is that a company work hard to provide you the best sound in all genres of music with the most advanced technologies while the other care more about the look and giving the sound what certain people would like to hear and not all of them (bassy songs) I don't prefer either I have headphones from both companies and I have my pros and cons on each that's an honest objective opinion ;)
@nagol517811 жыл бұрын
I use these in the studio as well as a pair of the highest rated studio headphones, which are the Shure's. I usually wear these and let the person i am recording where the shure's. These do have enough bass but you don't want too much bass in the studio. You want to mix and record everything properly. The headphones with more bass can sometimes distort what is actually going on. Of course, I am saying this for people like me who record music.

Hook it up to a stereo see how loud it is then. For small devices depending on the music format such as MP3 bit rate will affect the loudness of the headset. All there is a volume limit to some small players so it isn't always the headset.

Great review! Got them…. I get over 35 hours on a single triple A battery, I get generic (but high quality) batteries on Amazon and these headphones totally ROCK! The sound is awesome, major blocking of background noise, tried Beats and these block sound better and are 10 times more comfortable than anything I have ever tried.
@harmlb11 жыл бұрын
@EisblockTV The bass of Bose is very light. You buy it for the noise cancellation.
@Jeffdachefz11 жыл бұрын
no, its already designed to block out a lot of the noise with the ear cup insulation if you've never had other quality brands of over-ear headphones then don't assume it doesn't block out noise well or that you have to raise the volume up. when i say quality i dont mean beats or bose, those are pretty low on the audiophile scale.

How loud headphones get has a lot to do with the device your using. These are 73 ohm impedance which is decently high so if u are using a device with a weaker sound card such as an older mobile device they won't get these as loud. However, with the volume switch on high I get more than enough volume on my iPad mini 2 with the device volume at 1/2 capacity. You can use a headphone amp to get more volume if that's really an issue for you but I've found them to be quite loud.
@AnthonyPage9711 жыл бұрын
They are 3 very different headphones, as far as sound quality, momentums are the best of the bunch. Tough if you prefer some extra bass and a more sturdy build, the m100 are your best bet. And finally if you travel a lot and require the best noise cancellation on the market, go with bose. Hope this helped!

Noice cancelling headphones are very expensive and Bose do the best job at the lowest price between all of them, I can mention you some in ear NC headphones above 500$!!! So I guess the Bose QC15 is the best if you want noise cancellation and it's the cheapest as well

Can you do a review of the V-MODA Crossfade M-100? The QC15's are only OK to me, the treble sounds too tinny and artificial though.
@timsmotorcyclediary11 жыл бұрын
They did very well wrt noise cancellation is an understatement. The Bose QC have the best noise cancellation in the market because they invented the technology and don't let competitors license the technology. People travel to work everyday so they're worth the price Bose is asking for them.
@SeanWashPhoto11 жыл бұрын
I said this in another video, but I'm going to recommend it again. UrAvgConsumer, you really should invest in a cheap amp like the Fiio e6. It's very affordable at 25-30 range and it will make for better results when testing headphones. These Bose QC 15 headphones have a high impedance rating of 70 or so ohms, so when using them on portable devices they can't get enough power to get the volume they can achieve. If you have a cheap amp like the Fiio e6 you can properly test. Food for thought.
@Frank_4211 жыл бұрын
Soundwise they do open up nicely after a few weeks of use. The base is good, but just when I think I've achieved perfection in more challenging types of music or high volumes, I often experience distortion and crackling. I can get higher volumes using a headphone amp, but again this opens up the likelihood of distortion.

I have these headphones. I honestly have no idea what this guy is talking about with the not loud enough comments. These headphones go super loud, louder than what you will ever realistically need. My friend owns the $300 Beats ones and even he admits the Bose are better, just in case anyone was wondering. Also that little pocket inside the case is great for carrying an extra battery or two, and the battery last for 25 - 30 hours, its not that big a deal.

High inputs are for computers, mixers, and other large audio equipment. Low input is for iPods, mp3s, and things like that. Which explains why High Input doesn't make it louder.

Two headphones you should definitely review if you want to do this class of headphones are the PSB 4MU 2s and the Able Planet NC1150s. Of the noise cancelling headphones, the PSBs are supposed to have the best sound quality and middle of the pack noise cancellation (and they look awesome IMO). Able Planet is not a very well known brand, but the sound quality is pretty much just as good as the PSBs, but they have much better noise cancellation.
@PalmTree2611 жыл бұрын
I own both Bose headphones and Beats headphones and by far the Bose are so crisp with a very nice sound. The bass isn't that good but it's still good (if you know what I mean). The beats are more bass but somewhat distorted. Still good sound quality though.

When you have the chance, can you try out the Audio Technica ATH-ANC9 Noise-Cancelling headphones? Those have three different levels of noise cancelling and I wonder if they have similar sound to the ATH-M50's.
@mv1989198911 жыл бұрын
I didn't think they were that great but then i don't like on-ear headphones. Just think comparing an ANC headphone to a non-ANC one isn't really fair. Certainly think you can get far better than both for $300 though, depending on the person's needs.

I own a pair of Beats Studios (not 2013) and NO. By no means are they better in any way except for aesthetics and muddy bass. QC 15s are lighter (hence more comfortable), clearer, and they don't falsely advertise noise cancelling like how the Studios do. I'm hoping to successfully return my Beats in for some limited edition brown QC15s and get my money's worth. This will be my second return too, as Beats had to send me a replacement for a faulty Studio earcup..

I think these headphones are really good at noise canceling compared to allot of other noise cancelling headphones and have better sound quality. I think the fact that there is lower volume with these headphones compared to other headphones is fine because I don't usually listen to my music blasting loud when I have headphones on and you don't need these headphones to be loud for them to cancel out allot of things.
