This one sounds true like the audiophiles say 'no highs no lows only bose'. But once you play it through an equalizer app the sound is flabbergasting!

Great Review. You covered a lot of important details here, and the music samples you used really highlight and showcase how incredible this speaker sounds. I'm glad to see some more recent reviews which still recommend the Bose SLC2. I bought the exact one you have during a Black Friday deal in late 2020, and 2 years later it still sounds great, works perfectly, and I am still using it regularly. Maybe if Bose has a future redesign/update of the SL Color II - they can use a more exciting name than Aquatic Blue for the blue variant. Possibly call it Livin' On The Edge Blue? I have been looking at upgrading and getting a larger Bluetooth speaker with all the 2022 Black Friday sales kicking off, possibly a device that has more bass response and has a bigger fuller sound. Don't get me wrong, this SLC2 still sounds great and I am definitely going to keep using it. I am looking at something to replace a much older and larger Klipsch KMC-1 speaker, which is about 8 years old and one of the speakers blew out a couple years ago. Bose has a newer speaker - the SoundLink Color Flex, which is getting a lot of positive reviews, and it's only slightly more than the SoundLink Color 2. But last night I got out the current SLC2 and started using it for various types of music, and am still impressed with how clear and incredible it sounds. Maybe I will hold off on buying another Bluetooth speaker this year. Thanks again for a great review!

@@TechFit360 - You should try the Bose SoundLink Flex. It's definitely a step up in sound compared to the SoundLink Color II.

As of Sunday 11/19/22 - The SoundLink Color 2 is currently on sale at Best Buy for $79.99 - $50 off the regular price. It's not as much of a discount as the $69.99 sale price which TechFit360 mentioned, but it's still a great deal. This sale price of $79.99 is only for the black variant only. Amazon also has the same sale price for the black variant of $79.99, as well as you can buy it directly from Bose for the same sale price. Additionally at this time, the Bose SLC2 Citron Yellow color is $90.99 at Best Buy as well. Unfortunately it looks like the Blue and white color variants of this speaker are still the regular price. Just thought I'd pass the sale info onto others who could benefit. Good Luck!
