This is the first Bluetooth mini speaker that really caught my ears - great bass, but also a well-defined high end, too. Crisp, clean highs ... impossible amount of bass for something this size ... this is a great investment.

I just bought this today and I'm amazed at the quality of sound it produces for such a small and compact device. I love the way it can produce stereo effect even though the speakers are close to each other. Bass is quite good too. This is my first Bose device and I think it won't be my last.

Played with it at the Apple Store. Really great sound from something so compact! Shockingly doesn't distort that much. The only downside is its weight.

Bought one for my son he's had it for over a year it's perfect, for his room. House parties etc. It's a great smooth sound an so easy to Bluetooth to any device. i agree, near a wall for the best results. I really must get one for myself to use.

after searching the market extensively I came to the decision to buy the JBL Charge 2, and I never looked back OMG, It became my best buddy, all my friend are blown away when I play It, it's amazing how good it sounds and the BASS is incredible, battery lasts 12hours with a 6000mAh and it had a USB port where you can charge your phone if needed, no other BT speaker in the 150$ USD price range can beat it.

I tried this bose speaker. It sounds ok and has good bass but tends to sound linear sometimes. I think bose needs to add some sort of virtual effect to really throw the sound around the room. Maybe its just me.....

+Dan Kuso the speaker was not damaged. I wont say it is a bad sounding speaker by any means but it just sounds a bit linear. I think bose needs to add some virtual effects and they'd be a hero. I've heard better sounding speakers for less.

Thats because there is no point showing the sound off something on youtube... It would only sound as good as the speakers or headphones you are listening to this video on let alone the compression and loss of quality in the youtube upload process and the mic used to to record the video.

DO NOT BUY! A friend of mine has one of these and I was so blown away by this little speaker I got one right away. I enjoyed it and spoke highly of it for about a year until it started cutting off while playing. I asked my friend if he had ever encountered this problem and his bose was doing the same thing. It plays for maybe 30 seconds then shuts off. We have both tried to contact bose about our problem multiple times and have never received a response. Im done with bose.

There is no comparison in accuracy; the foxL is much clearer, more forward, engaging, way better imaging and accuracy. The Bose has very muffled mids and highs, but great bass. If you think Beats has good sound, maybe you'll like it. But if you know anything about real audio and sound, it's a joke. If you want to really hear the difference, compare the Bose by itself to the foxL with the Bose plugged in to the foxL sub out. Or, for a really amazing portable stereo, use two foxL's with an appropriate stereo adapter, and the Bose as a subwoofer. If you are going to use just one, the Bose is much fuller but not nearly as portable. But if you can go with two, the foxL is MUCH MUCH better for midrage and highs. And that is where the music lives!
