JB, I'm looking for the BOSE soundbar made a few yrs ago that produced wrap around surround sound without using any rear speakers etc. We heard it at Best Buy and it sounded like there was 10 speakers around us. It was quite a magical experience to hear a simple and small unit deliver convincing surround sound. Can you help me recall the BOSE soundbar it was? The year was 2012 and the only other thing the soundbar used was their acoustimass bass module. The main reason I'm seeking this particular bar is because of it's ability to fool the human ears to think they're hearing 5.1 without rear speakers and our off-grid cabin in the woods calls for this type of electronics as they draw very little AC power from the solar grid. We're efforting to build a home theater setup that uses very little electricity. Our thinking is, the BOSE soundbar we mentioned and it's bass module will be awesome when combined with a 65" 4K TV with energy star ratings. So, when we settle in at night, we can enjoy a movie or even just TV in decent stereo and simulated surround sound. To have that ability in an off-grid cabin way up in the woods would be awesome considering we're in the wilderness where power is a premium. (In the woods, the man will electricity is King!). Anyway, I think you understand what I am saying. Feel free to share any info you may have that can help us locate that soundbar we heard in 2012. Thx! ~ peace

You most likely can get a deal on the SoundTouch 300 just due to the new model being released. It's great for listening to music and will provide you with all the sound you need including Bass for awesome sounding music. Bose soundtouch items are still amazing and i recommended them to this day. Each one has its own app and ecosystem that wont cross over. So in this cases soundtouch300 wave radio soundtouch 10 20 and 30 ect can all be linked together for MultiRoom Audio or stereo sound extensions through soundtouch. The new bose 300 500 & 700 use the bose music app and won't cross over. So essentially any soundtouch item with wifi can be linked. Jb TechFanatic thanks for responding. Actually, having listen to the sound of Bose 500, I was not impressed at all especially having owned apple homepod since the launch. I feel like the sound of the Bose wave 4 is identical to that of the Bose 500. Hopefully, Bose releases an update for the soundtouch units to work with airplay 2, thereby making it able to play music simultaneously on my HomePod, music wave 4 and soundbar 700.

But You must have a spotify account. Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 😇 💯 🙏 thats a great question and hard to answer lol. for the simple fact they are both really good! and it would depend upon what kind of music and environment the speakers are used. Waveguide technology used in the Wave sounds much fuller and the bass in the 30 is all-around much better. So as a example pop or rap sounds better in the 30 and rock classical even choir in the wave. But overall they still sound great with everything. If I was going to pick only one? I guess I would get the wave for the simple fact that it still has A CD player nice to have even though everything is digital now. I like the look of it And it's much more Room filling sound. hopefully this helps a little😇

@@JbTechFanatic Thank you for your detailed response. I mostly listen to jazz, a little country and pop)). The wave looks more interesting. I want to get rid of my old HI-FI system and buy something more compact with good sound and the ability to play music from the nas server and Spotify (recently came to Russia). You can't listen to it, and it's scary to order without listening, because you might not like the sound. Bose always sounds good, though.

Nakanichi reached out to me to Review there new 9.1 system suppose to come out anytime. But i have not heard it yet and it keeps getting delayed. If cost is no factor i love my bose lifestyle 650 top teir bose product. grab that and dont look back its amazing. I have been buying lifestyle systems for years and its amazing thats 4 grand. If you want to go big big budget my man cave runs klipsch 11.2 Dolby Atmos that is insane i think you can get that one right now not to bad with a Yamaha reciever for around 7 grand. But sound bars i say maybe SoundTouch 300 for you so you get the extra hdmi port. So many great products out there.

How do you sync everything with video? I have tried everything with ST 10 and ST 300 to be sync with video but either all speakers are in sync but out of sync with video or ST 10 out of sync with video and ST300.

I'm honored that you've subscribed and have taken your time to share a comment😇 sorry to hear that you're having issues. but you should be able to fix these pretty easily. first thing to do unplug your modem and router plug your modem back in wait 60 seconds for it to boot fully up. then same with your router. once everything is booted up plug in all of your Bose devices and connect them to the same channel whether it be the 2.4 gigahertz or 5 make sure they're all on the same one. Next in the soundtouch app turn the audio sync switch to on in audio settings. next go into your TV and turn the audio delay to zero in audio settings. Once this is done this should fix the problem. if it's still happening while it's playing video pause it. Then wait 30 seconds and unpause. let me know if this fixes your problem. If it's still happening it could very well be your Wi-Fi router giving you issues remember this is all communicating over Wi-Fi Direct so this is a very crucial device for multi-room audio. thank you again for your support! What i am looking to do is use ST 10 pair as right and left speakers with ST300 along with VI300 and AM 300 and no matter what i tried I couldn’t get them working all in sync with video when main source is connected to ST300 via hdmi or optical. But no those speakers are only stereo sound they cannot be part of the right and left 5.1 surround sound speakers unfortunately. You have the buy the virtually invisible speakers to complete your 5.1 system. But they will output sound from the movie and sound good.

Is your auto motion set to off? When watching sports try turning it to custome then turn everything to zero but turn on the led clear motion. See if you like that. I use standard then Hdmi uhd color on. backlight 50. brightness -2. sharpness between 0 to 2. Color 32. Digital clean auto Local dimming high contrast enhancer off or high depending upon the resolution Bt1886 to 1 Color space native All eco solutions off Make sure your cable box settings are set to max resolution and to 16.9 make sure its not forcing zoom this is a common problem in default settings. Let me know

Well dude if you want to hear Bose? The best way is to buy a Bose lol. A setup & review video is probably not the best way. Especially since KZbin makes it nearly impossible to let the audiences hear anything with their ridiculous copyright policies. But even so I do give a demo towards the end at the max time they allow and I had to talk a few times during to get around the copyright. But sorry this free video was a waste 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ But to Maximize the experience with setup and Linking to soundtouch products if you purchase one it hopefully would be more helpful 😉
