Bosham is a small attractive village in Chichester harbour, which is lovely to visit for its attractive views, and take a stroll, or relax on the grass area in front of the Quay, maybe have an ice cream and / or a meal in the pub (booking recommended).
Bosham Sailing Club is the oldest sailing club in Chichester Harbour and was founded in 1907. Its clubhouse is the Old Mill on Bosham Quay with a terrace overlooking the picturesque harbour.
Drivers often make the mistake of ignoring the warnings in the car park, that it floods at high tide. It is not unusual for someone to return from a walk or drinking / meal in the popular pub (Bosham Inn), to find their car deep in water, sometimes completely submerged!
Bosham has an attractive village church (Holy Trinity Church) which is the oldest known place of worship in West Sussex. It is located between the pub and the Quay (National Trust).
