Irish rock star Bono, the lead singer of the band U2, arrived in
Sarajevo on Sunday (31/12) to take part in a New Year's Eve
humanitarian concert.

engsot of bono saying "nothing can prepare you for it. even just
coming from the airport. i've seen tv reports and newspapers but
i was first struck by how the ordinary people live and the
everyday courage of people making these lives in these places
which have been destroyed. and the second thought was if people
can survive the last four years these must be strong, capable
people and i'd say they have a great future";
