Apologies for newbie question but...Where do you use these long locks? You can't use these lock for a door.
@johnd0e257 жыл бұрын
Cylinders are really common in Europe for doors, this one is adjustable in length.
@RickyisHere7 жыл бұрын
arbre thanks, I am judging by the lenght of the lock being longer than the door thickness.
@johnd0e257 жыл бұрын
Yes it seems a bit long indeed. Maybe for secure / armored doors ?
@kjstools32617 жыл бұрын
Yes we in Europe can have very thick doors!!!!
@rileyfenley5227 жыл бұрын
In the US we have pretty much standard door sizes. In Europe they have multiple sizes for security, insulation, everyday use, etc and this one is adjustable for the different thicknesses.

So what would be the most secure lock against picking, drilling, etc ? Yale 3* platinium ? This one took 10 minutes on the video, same as the 3* Yale, and I suspect it must be much more expensive ! Any link, video on this question ? OK, here is one from this channel : (967) LockLab's Naughtiest Locks
@fermitupoupon17546 жыл бұрын
@Smart Cat Collar Project these locks are stupidly cheap for how good they are. I paid under €90 for 3 cylinders and 6 keys. Also the keys are numbered, so you need a special card in order to be able to get more keys or cylinders made.

Are there much of these "rules" the picker has to follow? Seemed that after Bill picked the lock and turned the core it wouldn't matter if the lock leaves the screen for a second....
@SReject7 жыл бұрын
The reason for the keep-in-frame rule is too keep pickers from recording the picking of an easier/modified lock of the same brand/model and then slicing in video of gutting the more difficult lock; claiming it was the more difficult lock they picked. Do I think Bill would ever do such? No, but everyone plays by the same set of rules. Edited: clarity
