Here's a coffee, Bosoares! Consider that another way of me saying thank you to you. ☕ And I think I may have found my new favourite PWBA commentator! *Sydney Brummett* seriously needs to consider doing more of this for future broadcasts, she is super knowledgeable. I could listen to her for hours on end. Now _that_ is the kind of commentary I expect to hear, I can learn so much. Nice job, Sydney! 👍

Watching her go up the ladder & win was the mark of a true professional. She is one of the great veterans on tour. These women sacrifice so much to travel & compete. Please create more tournaments & higher prize money. Bowling is growing once again due to them along with the PBA tour thanks for the upload !!

San Diego city has 3 lanes left (mira mesa lanes, lanes on the SDSU campus and a non public one Leatherneck Lanes (the pwba bowled a tournament there) on the marine base near the airport). This is down from 7 or more during the 1980s and 1990s. The closed centers were Frontier (24-hour), Sunset, The Grove and Kearny Mesa Bowl.

It's insane how Stef hasn't aged a DAY. Saw her during a couple college bowling tournaments way back when I was a college bowler, 20 or so years ago. She was even MORE intense back then too lol, but still very approachable. And Shan STILL has such a jacked physique. Damn. Oh and I went out with a chick who looked almost EXACTLY like Liz lol

@johnls392 жыл бұрын
@@SirJoelsuf1 Michelle Feldman was the best when it came to the cranker style. Anyhow, in the Nashville Open Championship during qualifying last year, I talked to Breanna Clemmer just a little and she seemed nice. She was bowling but came off the lanes and into the walkway area back and forth a little. One of the girls I talked to, Kayla Crawford lost during qualifying the day before and she was very nice to talk to. She was hanging out. Kayla was a rookie at the time. Kayla and Breanna were probably friends when Breanna was talking to Kayla.

It's kind of unusual that nobody has tried coaching out the arm thing Clemmer does. It seems like it would be a huge distraction I mean you can actually see her fighting to keep her arm level through the swing and release
@bosoares2 жыл бұрын
Her coaches made her do that to improve shoulder rotation and swing direction. In practice. But she liked it enough to make it permanent. I agree it doesn’t look good at all and not having the left hand help with the weight of the ball during the stance leads to excessive grip pressure.
@Michael-lu7xp2 жыл бұрын
@@bosoares either way she's good above average power for a woman. It's just makes me cringe because you can literally see her fighting to keep her arm where she wants it. Meaning that right in the middle of her swing she's not completely focused on bowling.

I know this is the women's tour and I know that women don't have the same rev rate as men so urethane may or may not work as well for them, but I'm sure the men on the regular tour probably would have attacked this pattern with urethane equipment . It just makes me wonder if the scoring pace may have been a bit higher if the women would have opted to use urethane later in the match instead of trying to move so far left and open up the lane so much. Either way, fun match to watch
@cy_lanix1302 жыл бұрын
This pattern would’ve broke down too quickly if urethane was used

@whoahdudeman2 жыл бұрын
While I actually enjou watching women’s bowling (because they bowl more like us amateur bowlers of every stripe and gender), the commentary propounding that the women’s tour is somehow more noble and virtuous than the men’s tour makes it unwatchable. From whence cometh this obsession with constantly comparing them to the men instead of enjoy these talented bowlers as they are?

Must be nice to win a tournament with luck, miraculous carry, and all the breaks you can get. A full display of dumb luck. I've never seen more shaker and tickle strikes in my life. Enjoy your false win Johnson. Next time try to actually hit a Mark and drive the pocket i.e. actually bowl and not win on a queef and a prayer for the most ridiculous carry you've ever received. That is all...
