LaybackGames They're really not. Shark Tale is incredibly dated with an irredeemable main character who sells his best friend's heirloom and uses said money to gamble as opposed to using it to pay off his debts. Shred the Third had a pretty weak story, and don't get me started on Justin Timberlake's involvement with the movie.

If there's one thing that really bugs me about this movie (btw, haven't seen it, and I don't really plan to) is the character designs, specifically the faces. They are way too soft, and the eyes especially are waaaaaaay too big and cutesy that it all makes me want to steer clear of the film entirely. I know that may be really picky, but it's something I really can't stand whenever I see ads for it.

I saw this movie with my nephew the other day and I just don't understand how there could be so many plot holes in one movie. For example, if losing your pacifier makes you forget being a boss baby, why did Boss Baby become a regular baby after not getting any milk, but the bad guy remembered everything despite having a pacifier and no milk? If I remember, he didn't get his pacifier taken away.

Lewtoons has a point in terms of how children enjoyed watching and the fact lego batman was forcing the plot so hard it made me think "people think this is good?" if your a DC fanboy bite me When I watched Lego Batman I remember this kid kicking and screaming batman in the theater when the movie ended he was monotone When I watched boss baby the other day kids around me were excited overall sure there are things that are not concrete but it ain't forcing anything down anyone's throat

I don't know if I want to actually pay money to go and see it, I hate potty jokes and bodily fluids jokes too (that sounds so wierd to type lmao) and by the trailers it seems there is a LOT of them. It has a few smart jokes but I don't know if I should watch it. Should I?

i don't like poop jokes either but i enjoyed the movie. it'll strike a chord with you if you are the older sibling in the family (which i am), the fart jokes and stuff like that can easily be ignored, i tried to focus more on the story. it wasn't amazing or anything, but it was like he said, a solid movie.

I can understand your point of view for liking Boss Baby. But for me, its not for me since its just so strange, bizarre, and stupid. Lego Batman, while I haven't saw it, the movie doesn't top the Lego Movie. So far this year, I have been liking Rock Dog (not because I like animals, from via avatar of mine). I , for one, thought that Boss Baby was one of dreamwork's better movies. The symbolism of the "tickle spot" and blocks the boss baby receives at the end of the movie really touched my heart. Art wise, the scene where Tim cycles on a bike without training wheels for the first time was really wild and colourful. I loved how they connected the pieces together to form an interesting story. I felt that the super cute forever young puppy was kind of weak but I focused more on the relationship between tim and the boss baby so I just kind of loved it.

Keep in mind he's only reviewed 3 movies so far, so it doesn't necessarily mean that he thought Lego Batman was bad or mediocre just because he personally liked Boss Baby more, it just looks worse because the scale is so small atm (and the third movie is Rock Dog, which was way worse than both movies).

I'd like to see a movie use this exact same premise, but at the end the characters still hate each other and hold to their deal of never seeing each other again. They never get along the entire time and the lesson isn't for us to find things in common even with people who we seem to antagonize initially. Instead, the lesson is that not everybody gets along and likes each other but we at least need to accept different people have different views and beliefs and at the best we can sometimes just learn to tolerate it as long as nothing is taken to a toxic level.

I'm just really losing faith in Dreamworks. From putting the last season of Dreamworks Dragons on hold from delaying the 3rd HTYD film to 2019, too cancelling Larikin, too now giving George and Harold adult voices. I'm seriously praying that the Captain Underpants movie is good.

Ryan Ozog It's Comcast that chooses the release dates now, it's not Dreamworks choice, and they back-dated HTTYD 3 because it had too much big name competition where it was (Avengers Infinity War, The Incredibles 2, Black Panther, Ant Man and the Wasp, Aquaman, Star Wars: Han Solo, S.C.O.O.B., Deadpool 2, Venom, Pacific Rim 2, Reck-it Ralph 2, Jurassic World 2, Mulan, Animated Spider-man movie and Mary Poppins Returns) so, if you want httyd3 to be sussessful you'll be happy they did that. And they pushed back the release of the newest season of RTTE because they wanted to give Trollhunters some breathing room, and they only pushed it back 2 months, so, boo-hoo, you'll get over it. And giving Kids adult voices is nothing new, almost every studio does it so they don't have to recast if they make a lot of sequels over the years (which they plan on doing for Captain Underpants). Everything DreamWorks is doing will make them sussessful​ in the long run.

Just saw this movie last night. It had almost a full house at the theater and just as I expected, it wasn't the best movie in the Dreamworks line-up but I did like it for the most part. Alec Baldwin did a great job playing his role as "The Boss Baby." It had some quarky moments, but yeah it's just one of the movies I would watch again but not over and over.

I actually saw this movie. I was bored one weekend so my mom decided to take me to the movies. There was no getting out of it, so I chose Boss Baby to laugh at a laughably bad movie. Similar to Trolls, it was a lot better than I expected. Some of the animation jokes were really clever, like with the 2-D hallway scenes, and the kid's imagnation bits. But other times I just face palmed. Way too many relying on showing the baby's butt for comedy, and just putting a bunch of pixels to cover the penis, really? You couldn't come up with something better? I wouldn't say it's a good movie, but I wouldn't call it a bad movie either. I'm glad I saw it.

5:31 I honestly think this is why this movie is much better than Lego Batman. And that's why I think this comment section is up-in-arms about why you placed Boss Baby higher. Kids won't really understand why Alec Baldwin's performance was good (especially the dry humor), how the references fit, and how both made the movie better. I didn't see this movie, but my mom did. She was excited to see the movie and found it terrible. She said she *HATED* it and it was a punishment for any kids. She even said my 4 year old brother was asking if it was over. So the fact that this was over The Lego Batman makes you a brave man and shows you don't care about haters.

I hated this movie. Being imagination is not an excuse to be lazy with your animation. There are multiple points where it makes zero sense to have that stuff in the movie. I'm not just talking about the parents being the only people on screen and having an explosion mark in the movie. Baby jokes also annoy me, I hate pandering in that area unless it was done well. This didn't do it well. Worst animated movie of 2017 imo.

remember that this is basically Alec Baldwin as a baby... It was honestly okay, but I wouldn't put it above "Captain Underpants the first epic movie" or mainly, "The Lego Batman Movie." That movie was hilarious! All of those references. That Adam West reference though, the weird dance thingy.

I first thought it was going to be obnoxious, but I was pleasantly surprised! It was a cute little movie with some painfully accurate truths about what it's like to be the older sibling.

It looks like an interesting movie, but I have to say- I REALLY dislike mouth close-ups. lol For some reason it just makes me uncomfortable. Everything else looked fine though.

"I don't think Dreamworks is capeable of a really bad movie." Shark Tale has a pretty bad reputation but it also has allot of people who like it. Then again we're just gonna ignore Shrek 3? I mean Shrek 4 has no reason to exist but at least it had better comedy and slightly better writing. Shrek 3 is straight up my least favorite Dreamworks movie, with Shark Tale as a close second.
