boss_contamination perfect run except i just spam trench shotgun thrust 35% of the run (item asylum)

silly strategy for beating this boss: you’re better off just getting mad noobs shotgun and only mad noobs shotgun in particular but hear me out.. trench shotgun is the only weapon with a good area damage ability, while there’s stuff like upgraded weapons, they’re all single target, and there’s multiple hordes in this mode (they also can’t deal with riots consistently..) hyperlaser, hs-010, and ebony & ivory also have area attacks, but they don’t even ragdoll and/or are weak and take long to recharge. they ignore riots but that’s about it, trench is the only weapon with area damage that consistently stuns. against the brute, trench shotgun doesn’t have too high of dps against him, but you don’t have to care about time in perfect runs, the real threat about the brute fight are the zombies he summons, which trench deals with perfectly against the zombies in general, prioritize killing rotwatts, they have aimbot and will get you swallowed by the horde if you don’t kill them fast enough. crawlers are about just as dangerous, they’re the fastest and have a chance to ragdoll you each hit. shriekers are third most dangerous, they put curses on you so you take extra damage from other zombies, which is dangerous in a mode with limited healing. riots aren’t that bad, they’re annoying at best, but they’re slower than the average walkspeed, just don’t get trapped in a corner. the tank appears once in the elevator room after you’ve basically killed everything else, and if you could clear the room solo he’s definitely too weak for whatever weapon you used to kill everything else. as for the brute, he has a 20 damage maul that flings you if you get too close, a red lunge that instakills you, a green stomp you spam jump over, easily avoidable vomit where he points, and a roar which summons more zombies.

mac 10 is also a good weapon for the brute because of the high dmg and fast firerate that's how I beat pr contamination

And to think that a mode where you are SUPOST to use ranged only, would have a "melee" option as one of the best cards in the rng deck that is item asylum

Fun fact:you can get any gun item from crates, including hyperlaser. This means you can get a dog water item like mad sheriff, and an item that is unstoppable like pixel rifle or AWP. Edit: accidentally made my own (small) war in the replies for the first time

I legit did this for my attempts and got to the final boss (died) but the trenchie is underrated You can shoo away riots and crawlers with E thrust, there's no cooldown just a bit of animation delay for the hitbox to register

I feel like recommending weapons would be pretty useless, since all he’s gonna do with this boss is prolly do it with the jgns. Ok pro tip, Mihawk is dead here, unless you disable no regen, i feel like he’s cooked. But if you actually watched one piece, you’d know he destroyed 50 ships in a few hits, barely moved his sword and cut a huge ship in half. So uhhh thats an excuse for ranking the dmg multiplier up to 100x ahahhahshahahahahahahaahhhzhzhahzhha Coolio video im gonna try that strat when i wanna win pr again
