That first little jam he was doing in the beginning made me think of limp bizkit. Great sound. Just bought this pedal and the boss DD-5 reverb. They go hand in hand nicely.

I dont know about you but there is something about the Boss delays like this one that sound just right - the way the delay sits with the dry signal, never overbearing, in its own space. Something many boutique delays cant quite manage as well for me.

To the person asking how to get the dotted 8th note - All you need to do is divide your BPM into 60. Then divide that number by 4, then multiply by 3. For example, say your BMP is 120, 60 divided by 120 is 0.5. Divide that by 4 gives you 0.125. Multiply that by 3 gives you 0.375. That's 375ms. Put the mode on long (200-800ms) then use the delay time to estimate 375ms.

Way more steps than necessary. Just divide 45 by the BPM.

Cool, I'm very tempted to pick up a DD-20. It may not be the most glamorous delay or the newest on the block but your demo's show that it's still hard to beat especially for the money. Thanks for you reply.

Your demos are great - very informative and helpful. Out of interest, of all the delay pedals you've played, do you have any particular favourites or stand-outs?Cheers, Pete

You can use it outboard in front of the amp..I use an overdrive first, but you can use it in front of the overdrive for some types of delay/fx.. I think its muddier that way.. I use the outboard unit with a clean JC120.. It has no effects loop.. As far as they go, You can run them Return and send which was originally designed for Tube amps so you could get your effects in between the pre and post amps.. Some amps also sport a line signal or 1/4 signal in a switch by the send and return on this function.. Suggest you check your manufacture for counsel on how to use your send and returns works for any issues..

Yeah...I just want a pedal that just trails your last note or chord....I don't want a pedal that is like you yelling off a mountain....I don't want repeats....just a long trail sound... where OR WHAT kind of pedal does that????
