wow, what a nice little and practical machine...if i hadnt just bought my Yamaha THR that i use as a audio recording interface for all my instruments i would take a serious look at this Boss GT-001

I got it, in my opinion this is one of the best ASIO Desktop Audio Interface, what a Guitarist can buy to arrange his Songs! The ASIO Power is very good, and the latency is also very good! The bigest Projekt I drive till now, was around 30 Tracks and many Plug-ins on any Track and 8 Send Channels …plus a Drum VSTi and all is in sync, no Dropouts! My PC is a Old i7 4770 (?) with 3,5 GHz is not the best CPU for Audio and I work with SSD Storage. The output signal is really good, I can do professional Mix and Master my Songs, the Dynamic Range allways very good, in my opinion….sure there are better devices out there ….but you the thing is, if I use this better options and will it help me for a better Master Mix….I don’t belief that! To Record Distorted Guitars, 44,1Khz is always CD Quality…and when the Signal is good, you got good cables with no noises…you get a superb Recording Quality, with 16Bit …I never use 24Bit….no! May for Bass Guitar 24Bit is a good solution…but for a Distorted Guitar, it make no Sense…! OK I say I will buy it again, I Test many other Devices but this one was for me the best Solution. The only bad thing is, that the AUX in Can’t Recorded, its only for Jamming, that Really sad…otherwise there were a Keyboard IN, you can Record Keys over the Guitar IN …it’s Stereo….but you must drag the cable out, with AUX IN there were a fixed Setup….but, it’s ok for my.

I've always wanted a great desktop guitar FX/interface. I'm very happy that Boss brought their floor unit to a great tabletop unit that's also an audio interface. Very cool. Great for practicing, recording and beyond. Good job, Mitch.

So glad I decided to buy the GT-001 my music room is now studio heaven. Re-amping my guitar recordings works great, no need to play my guitar parts twice just select another guitar tone to whatever I like to thicken up my recordings. Boss Tone Central gives me more guitar patches to download from well known guitar players and the software interface is just beautiful to use, thanks Mitch :)

I got one super cheap, 95€ second hand. A smart guitar solution for a backback soundcard. Just need headphones. I know that many think its outdated and Cosm simulations sound digital and lame, but I see amp sim in this unit more as an addition for practice. Only aim to use the dry signal for guitar plug ins like Amp knob etc. This is a very budget friendly solution while I save money for a bigger setup. Who knows maybe it stays as an on the go unit.

Ok, just ordered one from you guys based on your vids. From what I can tell it is a GT 100 but a table top unit. The amp, effects etc. list is all the same stuff. AND I think I can get rid of my M Audio Fast track & use this for sound as well. Not sure, but hoping that is the case. Can't wait.

I received my device today, my computer sees it but the driver does not install because it is not there anymore (or anywhere else). Hello, I have a pair of speakers with RCA inputs, to connect the Gt001 reaches with using adapters from 1/4 to RCA or do I need some kind of direct box because of the impedance issue ?, thank you very much.

If i only want to us the USB port like a simple output to my Cubase I do I do? I don't want GT-001 to become my soundcart. Hello, Nicolas! I believe I am following you on this. If you would like to use the GT001 as an audio input over the USB connection, it will have to become your soundcard at least temporarily. The GT001 is more designed to be connected directly to a computer. That being said, since it is doing amp emulation, the cleanest way to get it connected to an amp would be to run it directly into the power amp section so that you bypass the front end of the amp.
