Hey there. You've done an EXCELLENT job tweaking your GT-3 Pedal board. These things are nearly 20 years old now! What are the chances you can save your settings using the GT-3 editor software as a .syx file and place them on Box.com or DRopbox for downloading? You ever use that software? It's free, but I figure you know all about it. Please & thanks, should you go this direction! Otherwise, one parameter at a time, I guess! :-)

I don't really know but I use a Midi to USB cable that works right with another devices like an E-Drum, so I'm sure this will work.. I'm busy right now but in a few hours will be back with news.. I come from China. In 1999, I had a "Washburn" electric guitar, a 100 watt "Peavey" amp, and Boss gt-3. Later, I bought JS1000 and boss gt-5. very good!

Buenas.. me alegro de que te haya sido útil..! Lo de la corchea es sencillo; entras en la configuración del Delay pulsando ese botón, seguidamente le das al botón derecho de Parameter hasta llegar a DlyTime, y giras la rueda a la derecha hasta el final, donde tienes las BPM, ahí tienes todas las medidas solas, con puntillo y también con tresillo

Lo tiene, y configurable para usarlo con el pedal de expresión como un whammy; entras en el menú del botón Mod, buscas el Harmonist, lo activas, en voice pones 1-Voice, en Mode lo pones en Mono; en HR1 Pitch pones -12 para bajar una octava o -24 para bajar dos; luego vas al menú del botón Pedal Assign, te pones en Exp Pedal, y buscas HR1 Pitch.. con eso debería funcionar, y si no pues anda cerca...

Had my GT3 for years but on started playing with it now and totally frustrated with the myriad of patches. for example WHY is there a "Clean Jazz" on bank 8-3, and then again on64-1? Does ANYONE know if I can find a list that makes more sense like; A List of all "Over Drive", or "Delay", or "Fuzz", etc., and a list of Synth sounds like "Strings" , or "Brass", etc. Let me know - MUCH APPRECIATED!! That's because the first banks are the originals and the last ones, when they start repeating, the user banks that are editable.. and that's usually the same in this kind of devices

Hi ... I'm a real fan of the GT3 and have used it for years with different guitars. I now own more than a few! ... Might I ask please, do you know how to copy one to another? I have read the manual (which isn't clear to me) and tried every possible permutation I can think of (spending many hours) and still cannot fathom it ... is there a video anywhere you know of that deals with this, please? wow this is awesome. I still have my GT-3 after all these years even though I now have a Line6 Firehawk FX, the Boss GT-3 has stuff in there that is NOT even on some of the more expensive units. Do you still have access to the PC software GT editor that you can use to load/save the patches? if so where can we get it? thanks cant wait to watch the rest of these vids! BTW awesome SRV tone and playing on that last patch "Soft Lead 1" great stuff!

Ok, creo que se podría hacer, tendría que estudiarlo a ver si pasándolo por el Pitch y luego por un Fuzz se consigue algo, lo que no podré hasta dentro de unos días, tengo demasiado curro; en cuanto lo intente pondré otro comentario aquí con el resultado

Estupendo Charli! No hay prisa, puesto que llevo tiempo pensando cómo conseguir el sonido en la GT3. La idea es sonar lo más parecido posible a Royal Blood empleando la GT3 sin tener que adquirir un kit de pedales.

Bro this is wonderful stuff, but may I make a suggestion. I saw your videos come up a few times and when it saw studio presets I thought it was yet another demo of the awful factory presets and your video is much more than that. Maybe include tutorial in your headings? Excellent work my friend, you have gone to a lot of trouble to share your settings of your beautiful tones with everyone.

If you need to reset the unit just press and hold SFX and MOD at the same time, then turn on the pedal board. You will now get a message saying Factory Default on the screen. Then press WRITE and it's ready. If you need to download my presets you have the download links in the description of the 5 videos.

@@Char7ie78 Lo unico que no he logrado en mi GT-6 es el tema del compresor que en esta lo tiene aparte, el compresor en la 6 viene como parte de los FX1, por lo que no p uedo usar compresor y tremolo para tu primer preset :/

Pregunta @Carlie, como conectas el pedal a tu PC?, usas un cable MIDI a USB, o usas un MIDI a MIDI hacia tu interfaz?, veo que no hay videos sobre conectar estas viejas pedaleras a windows. Yo tengo una interfaz PResonus iTwo que tiene entrada y salida midi, me preguntaba si comprar cables MIDI a MIDI funcionará, o es necesario MIDI a USB y evitar la interface. Saludos y gracias!

Ok lo primero es conseguir un manual de uso, eso probablemente se pueda conseguir fácil en la página de Boss o buscando en el Google.. Tienes que tener en cuenta que es un aparato potente con lo cual hay que usar los volumenes y ecualizaciones con moderación para que el sonido no se sature o desvirtúe; en el menu de configuración general establece el tipo de amplificación que va a tener, o sea si va a ser a través de un amplificador de tipo combo, cabezal (Stack), o a través de auriculares o mesa mezcladora; si es en uno de los 2 últimos casos lo pones en "Headphones"; luego todo es cuestión de ir probando las diferentes posibilidades de sonido que tiene la pedalera.. También podrías buscar videos de tutoriales, al igual hay alguno bueno; si tienes más dudas intentaré ayudarte en lo posible... suerte!👍
