This is a great video! I use a Mixer instead of the iRig but it's more expensive. Excellent!

Soo my phone records the guitar audio through my phone with high quality? It would've been nice if you recorded a sound demo of you playing through it.
@thewiredidiot8 ай бұрын
at the time, i didn't know how to do that on video. but i will be remaking some of these videos. Also, the audio you hear on my frecent videos is recorded exactly this way

@@Matthew750-4 yes, you will just need to use a usb c cable intead of a lightning unless you have the newest iphone 15, which is usb c

@@Matthew750-4 yes, it is the same as recording in a studio or into a DAW using an interface. The only sound will be from the guitar, the effects if any, or any buzz or hiss from a faulty cable. No ougtside or room noise.

i have boss gt-1 connected to my computer via usb.. i run the Boss Tone Studio for GT-1 application. In the connections, I select the Midi In Midi Out and Audio In and Audio Out options, all for GT-1 .. I click connect and after a few seconds the window returns to select the connection option for Midi In ,Out and Audio In ,Out .. and so same thing over and over... why?
@thewiredidiot Жыл бұрын
hi, just wondering why you are wanting to use midi instead of a usb connection

I dont think you need i rig. I rig is a audio interface. Boss gt1 i itself a audio interface. So simple instrument cable to microphone cable connector will do.

@thewiredidiot correct , I rig is designed to convert the signal from the GT 1 to the phone at the frequency the phone wants to see! I have a Tascam dr40x which is an external Mic interface that actually has options for what frequency you convert the signal . The learning curve is a little more because of the multiple menu options
