hi i would like to know the reverb and delay and EQ setting for violin

Why do we use the eq if we could use bass, mid, and treble knobs to adjust frequencies? Any specific reasons?

Think of EQ like a fine-tuning tool… the tone controls on an amp allow you to dial in broad frequency ranges and if they get you your intended tone then there is no need for additional EQ, however sometimes you might need to focus in on a specific frequency that the amp tone controls can’t quite hone in on, that’s where EQ comes in.. you can tighten up your tone by affecting specific frequencies. For example, there might be a mid range “honk” that is causing you grief and dialing down the mid control may take away too many other mid frequencies.. EQ can allow you to focus in on just the offending frequency and cut it without pulling out neighbouring mid frequencies.. that’s just one example. Also, note in the video where i talk about shaping your guitars tone before it hits the amp, again, this is where the EQ can be very handy. The bottom line is, EQ is not essential but it is a very handy tool to have if you understand how to use it.
