I'm a big fan of the Matchless block in the GX. I run a compressor before it and raise the Matchless pre-gain just to the point of break up, while on my neck pickup. Its incredibly sensitive to attack and when switched to the bridge JB, sounds even more amazing.

Hey Andy, Great tones my friend and this was very helpful! You mentioned loaded in a GT1000 patch. I have tried this and it says file format not compatible or similar. Did you load it straight in or manually load it from settings someone posted?

Hey! I’ve never used the helix system so I can’t comment. I like the amps in the boss. They need tweaking, just like any amp does. But it feels good to play through
