Very interesting. I’m going to start using this neat tool to do some recording but I’m not going to use any one else’s music combined into my songs. I hope that makes sense. It’s extremely helpful when I’m writing lyrics & have something smooth playing in the background even though I won’t be using the track. I can put almost any instrumentals over lyrics that I came up with listening to something that sounds nothing like the finished product. That’s what works for me & it’s simple, that is if one has a lot to say it’s in a sense like a form of therapy for me. Music, riding a motorcycle, fishing, there’s a lot of things to do in a blessed life that is super stress relief. The way I see it, need a pill, or a drink, or any vice to relieve one’s self, various aspects of music from creating through to listening to a neat piece. I’ve been away for quite awhile and that honestly wasn’t good for me but did help me because I was stuck on a heavy metal hamster wheel & was very tired & burnt out with no inspiration therefore nowhere to go. Where there is no vision the end of that road will come to an end. I like what I heard & it was absolutely helpful than you!👍

Is it possible to back up all the KZbin session tracks/videos that I have added to the app on my tablet?
@ArashA783 ай бұрын
You have amazing videos and also very nice patches. Can I pls Ask you how you you are actually connected to logic so that when you started playing the backing track on the app , you also started to record in Logic. Is it simply by connecting via Bluetooth port of the Katana Go to your laptop???

Many thanks! This time the Go was recorded via the headphones out. Since it's coming from the Go usb, Logic records it. The Go was this time connected to my audio interface via Stereo jack.

Thank you indeed for fast reply- really appreciate it. Unfortunately I am rather new to this so I have to admit I didn’t quite understand this and I would really really appreciate if you could really dumb it down for that reason. So I have the Go, I have my Mac, I have a Scarlett Solo as my audio interface. You mean in order for me to do what you did, I 1) connect a cable from the headphone jack of the Go to ….where? And then there is obviously the USB port on the Go…so 2) I connect that port via a USB cable to the Mac?? Or to the Scarlett and then the Scarlett in its turn to the Mac? Like I said, would really really appreciate if you could dumb it down so I understand this as I have hard time following with all these in and out ports and jacks. Sorry for bothering but you have the best videos and I want to learn what you are doing…🙏🏼🙏🏼

@@ArashA78 Hey, even I got confused! lol !!! 1) To the Scarlett. Signal goes mono. 2) Forget the USB for now. This way, you still select the Scarlett in your DAW as the input and output source. So Go into Guitar, from Go a jack to the Scarlett. You will need an adapter from mini to normal jack. This way you record in mono. The second option is to go USB. There's no need for a jack. In your DAW you now select the Go as the input device and the Scarlett is still the output device. In this option, all effects are stereo. The Go will act as an audio interface. Now if you have both the jack into the Scarlett and the USB connected to your Mac, the sound from the Go is streamed into your Mac allowing you to hear and record the backing track as well as you playing on top. Shit, maybe I'm going crazy!!! hahahah But I think that's it. Cheers

Great!!! Please, how do You record keeping your effects in Katana?

Thanks. On this device the effects are “printed” and you can’t record a dry signal.

Are mk2 presets cross compatible with the katana go?
@JucaNeryGuitar8 ай бұрын
You can use the patches from the Katana on the Go, but not the other way around if not mistaken.
