Thank you for this. Living life disabled is hard, really hard. For me it's learning to live with the fact I can't do what I did before the ahole reversed his car without looking and hit me. Not just the physical pain and the limitations, not only learning to live with the fact I'm different now. Then there's the mental health side with nightmares and flashbacks. I can never be as spontaneous. Can no longer do the job I loved. But then there's the stares the questions. Even though I do prefer people to just ask questions than stare and whisper to each other. The worst thing for me is the fact that my ankle injury that I was left with, that I will always need at least crutches for has lad to pain and damage in my other leg and hips. But I'm grateful to simply be alive, to have a superb support system, from my mum to my best friend to other friends, to Internet strangers on here and reddit. I'm grateful to live in a country with free healthcare. No matter how bad my days can get with pain and flashbacks, I try and list a few things that I'm grateful for or have to look forward to. I do remember that others have it far worse. Not just more severe disabilities but I know not every disabled person has a visible disability. Just because someone doesn't use a wheelchair or crutches or a stick that doesn't mean they're not in severe pain or feel exhausted. You may not think they need help or to sit at the front of the bus or need their seat on a packed train, just remember not to judge them if they refuse to give up their seat. You don't know their story. This is especially the case for children and teenagers.

A boy is engaged to a young woman who is a single mother, he really likes the girl and does not see the baby as a hindrance, but an incentive for life, he loves the girl and his son considering them part of his life. One day! Decides to introduce the girl to her mother and with her baby in her arms, the mother-in-law at first shows kindness for her son, but then calls the boy in private, asks if he has gone mad, because he is with a woman who is a single mother. The son says he loves the girl and her baby, the father abandoned them and he likes her, he has already grown fond of them and they are part of his life, he says that the girl works, studies and is an honest and honorable person, and she did not hide it from him.
