Hello friends! Introducing all the Boss ME 25 preamps in this video. To activate the cabinet simulation, you need to plug in headphones output. Attention:
1) You need a plug in the headphones out to activate the cabinet simulation;
2) For live shows, you can send the signal from the headphone output directly to the mixer/PA system and the L out to amp.
1: CLEAN This is a clean sound that is smooth and warm.
2: TWIN This models a Fender Twin Reverb.
3: TWEED This is a crunch sound of a Fender Bassman.
4: VO DRIVE This is a crunch sound reminiscent of a VOX combo amp.
5: BG LEAD This is a lead sound of a Mesa/Boogie combo amp.
6: MS VINTAGE This is a sound reminiscent of 1970s Marshall amps.
7: MS MODERN This models the higher-gain sound of Marshall amps of recent vintage.
8: 5150 DRIVE This is a lead channel of a Peavey EVH5150.
9: R-FIER This models a Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier.
10: ULTRA METAL This is an original metal amp of exclusive design that produces sound having distinct contours along with bold bass and heavy distortion.
This is ideal for all kinds of metal play, including complex and intense riffs, heavy and thundering downtuned bass riffs, speedy solos, and more.

I always love Zoom multi effects.. but the one that got this pedal a win for me was it separated the preamp and drives.. unlike other multi effects in which they placed all the preamps and distortions in one channel

I love this when I use the Headphone adapter in the headphone spot to make it sound better through something else. It's a hack I learned it makes it sound so mucb better. You are welcome and go try it. I actually prefer this thing and bias fx to many other programs though. I have heard impressive tones from Plini's new plugin though. Go check out the Plini plugin because it's sick also.

what real life amp does that "clean" preamp name models from? for eg the manual mentions that the "tweed" preamp models the real life fender bassman. but it makes no specific reference for the clean one

Hi... is a Boss creation. It wasn't based on any amp that exists. It's the clean amp that I like the most in the Boss multi-effects because in addition to sounding good for clean tones, in my opinion of course, it accepts the multi-effects OD/DS pedals very well or even external pedals. I use a lot of GT100, GT1, Me80... Thanks bro!

All manufacturers manage to make great clean preamps. I really like the Fender Super Reverb on the Nux MG30 (among others), the Mesa Boogie LoneStar on the Nux MG400 (among others), Vox AC15 and Fender Twin on the HD500x and HD500, Fender Twin on all Zoom multi-effects, Clean preamp on the Vox multiFX... but there are many more great clean preamp options on all these units. We have a lot of material on the channel. It is worth checking. Hi... I like to use it directly on the PC or directly on the mixer in live shows. To use in amps you have to do tests using the effects loop (return) and the input as well. Each amp reacts in a different way, only with many tests. So I prefer to use without amps and always arrive with my sound ready for the PA system.

Fala Diego. Olha cara, tive 4 PCs nos últimos 10 anos. Nenhum deles foi nenhuma super máquina. Na época que fiz este vídeo da Me25 era um computador com Windows 7 32bits e apenas 2Gb de memória ram. Talvez vc esteja se referindo ao timbre da minha guitarra não? Não esqueça de plugar algo na saída de headphones pra ativar a simulação de gabinete.

If we use multi-effects with the lowest amperage, we will have noise. This happens with all the multi-effects I have. I always use the original power supply that comes from the factory. Another thing is that we shouldn't share the same power supply between other pedals and a multi-effects (using extensions like Daisy Chain), we must leave the power supply only for the multi-effects. Acredito que a Zoom G3X é a que consegue ser concorrente direta da Boss ME-25. Às vezes a Me25 é melhor em algo, outras vezes a G3X é melhor em outra coisa. rs A briga é dura! Sobre a G1xon... Apesar de excelentes e muitos efeitos a G1xon peca na construção menos robusta que as duas citadas acima, não serve como Interface USB para gravações diretas, entre outras... Não dá pra compará-la com a ME-25 ou Zoom G3x porém é uma pedaleira que cai muito bem em um pedalboard e tem uma ótima qualidade de timbre.

Por isso eu sempre digo e repito: Gaste toda a sua grana na guitarra! Compre a melhor guitarra que você conseguir. Se ela for boa, os timbres já estarão prontos e funcionará bem em qualquer situação, seja somente no amp, seja com alguns poucos pedaizinhos ou com um multiefeito em linha ou no amp.

...muitos fazem o caminho inverso. Preferem pagar 2300,00 numa Gt100, hj em abril de 2017, e 500,00 numa Tagima Woodstock achando que a gt100 fará milagres. :/ Com essa grana ele pegaria uma Fender japan ou mex... e depois se a coisa apertar, compra uma G1on baratinha e usa um tempo, depois passa pra uma G3 ou Me25, depois monta um set de pedais ou pega uma gt100, hd500x, etc... e depois de um breve tempo ele estará com um belo set e uma guitarra legal com muitas possibilidades de timbres, ótima entonação, braço, etc...

Muito bom... gostaria se você puder é claro, regular um parâmetro de efeito para abaixar a afinação 1 ou 2 tons abaixo no octave com distorção pesada tipo Slipknot. Facilita a vida de quem só tem uma guitarra. . Obrigado. ;-)

Não é possível na ME25 pois o oitavador e o pitch não são polfônicos e as notas só podem ser tocadas uma por vez. Se tocar duas ou mais notas ao mesmo tempo elas embolam. Tem Oitavador polifônico na Gt-1.

Aqui nos vídeos do canal só uso duas. Sempre as mesmas pra que o pessoal possa comparar os timbres de um vídeo com outro e não ter tanta influência de mudanças de guitarra. Uma é Fender Japan 1996 com pickups originais e outra é uma strato montada por mim mesmo com corpo e braço comprado em luthier no ML e pickups humbuckers Dimarzio PAF PRO Neck e Tone Zone bridge.

Hi, this is a topic that would take many hours of discussion. I used my Fender Japan with its original pickups in this ME25 video. However, I used a Corona Standard ST in this video: kzbin.infouZ2ORTzYJ28 and an SX SST62 here kzbin.info/www/bejne/qqXKopKDgZiqpLc , and they all sound great to me. A blind test between these 3 guitars would be quite challenging. There will be a substantial change in tones if you test an SG, Les Paul, or semi-hollow guitar with this preset. That's why I always inform the guitar I used in the video description. :) Thanks for commenting, man!
