I kinda do the same thing with both pedals. Cept its the mt2 first then the hm2. I use the mt2 as a boost snd i use the HM2 for the sizzle. No distortion use fron either pedal. Just to help color the distortion from my amp head.

Makes sense! Probably adds that nice forward compression for the Hm2 to boost the scooped separation. I should have tried that before parting ways with these pedals lol. It makes sense to me to have done it the way you did because even though both the MT-2 & HM-2 are both hard clipping overdrives. The HM2 feels more dynamic and warmer than a buzzing of bees we know to be the MT-2. So it’s like running a TS like pedal post RAT like pedal. Then again you’re running the MT-2 like the lower overdrive section pre HM-2. Cool stuff! Sounds like you’ve got a “HeavyWeapon” of a rig there! Thanks for the comment!

@@Pedalheadshow No problem man ☺️. I also use a Keely Modded metal Zone with the 3 way switch in the rightmost position. The middle has the highest amount of gain boosting properties. Which I don't use because too much wouldn't be good for the tone. The Keely Modded metal Zone also makes less noise than an un modded one. They're easy to find online nowadays. My guitar has Black Winters in them. Though the guitar I'm waiting on, is gonna have a Kahler and a Ahb-2 Blackout. My last guitar had the ahb1s

@@HeavyWeapon858 nice! I find with any pedals for the the most gain and least noise using active pickups is the way to go! Black winters/ invaders/jb Seymour are fully of gain / high output = out to higher floor noise. I found that out with switching my jb sh4 to the Fishman fluence classic/moderns and Emg 81/85s. They keeley mod or the boss Waza craft custom modded modes are sick!
