You did a very good demonstration of this and it helped me a lot. I watch all 3 of the videos. I am very happy with my boss recorder I think it's just a learning curve and once you learn it,it's very easy. You were very clear in all the steps of which buttons to push and I think I understand it better then someone who doesn't have one because I have a general idea of how it works. Just watching it looks confusing for anyone if they haven't played around with it. But good quality,and portable.

Thanks for the great review! I really want to get one of these... although one thing that is holding me back is that it's not mountable on a mic stand for example for easy positioning when using the live recording mode... for example to record a gig where you need to put the unit in a good place.... but I guess there's always ways around that... and it's amazing value for money!!

Question: You demo the live record function only up to pressing the off button. Theres a lot more to it. What happens next? Bottom line: If I want to use this as a cassette recorder, where I only need to press record each time I have an idea, and use itagain and again for the length of a cassette tape for instance, under the same file, can i do it? Am i adjusting, naming, renaming files and scrolling each time I record? Making a different file each time I record?

The MICRO BR BR-80 causes my 2018 Macbook Pro to crash when I plug in the USB. It gives the message- USB has been disabled. Disconnect the accessory that is using too much power. Anyone know a fix for this? As is, the Micro BR-80 is useless.

This br-80 is purely shit. You will never get great distortion unless you want to invest more in some other shit like monitor cable. This freaking recorder is always peaking and getting some fuzzy noise while you record you things. Unless you want to record some douchebag acoustic guitar to seduce girl, you will never found what you are searching for with that. Sure you got a bunch of pub that show how GREAT it is, plug on a fully sound equipment of more then 3000$.youre in wrong way.DONT BUY
