Firstly, let me say that this is a very dry video and I realize that. I made it to consolidate all of the info on the legendary Boss OC-2 and hopefully present it in an understandable manner. I will also be comparing it directly with the modern OC-3 so you can hear for yourself what the hype is about. There are many different versions of the OC-2 and many overlapping periods with uncertain dates so that will be a big portion of this video so you can understand how the desirable and less desirable versions differ. I'm not offering any opinions in this video, but feel free to share yours!

Regarding the different versions and changes in parts of the OC-2, refer to this list:
1982 - 1984 - first OC-2s are in production

1984 - 1985 - switched name from Octaver or just Octave
