this dudes playing is pretty bada$$. But how are these "tricks"? arent they standard ways to use an octave pedal? Just sayin.
@AlexHutchingsMusic3 жыл бұрын
Thank you mate, I was trying to pitch this for beginners that perhaps don't know how to use an Octave pedal, so essentially maybe I should've titled it 3 ways to use an Octave pedal? I'd also say the high octave is quite unique sounding to this pedal and the Lowest note feature is also pretty cool. Either way cheers for watching and all the best 👍

Sounds like the FX35 Octoplus by DOD back in the day. I loved this pedal back in the 90's hitting it with distortion. By the way, I love your Ibanez. I have a silver 2000 Custom Japan model 550 that had the chrome pickguard, but mine in silver metal flake and not chrome like your Gem. Thats badass!

Has anyone tried using the BOSS OC-5 with an acoustic guitar? I am trying to isolate the lowest note of my chords to pretty much have the sound of a bass playing along with me. But, it sounds pretty muddy and even sometimes has a strange delay like sound as if I had a delay pedal on. The volume is also all over the place. I was thinking that if I put a compressor in the chain that will help this problem. What do you guys think?

i'm finding the root note mode is a bit quirky, It works best when finger picking but strumming chords its un reliable, I'm disappointed about that but I work around it. Nice review.
Merci !
