I await for the day when they have intelligent pitch shifting/harmonizer that can track exotic scales like harmonic minor hungarian minor etc etc as well as chromatic passing tones for playing over changes and quickly changing scales/keys. That will be the day

The PS-6 harmonizing, detune and octave effects seem great... the Alien and pitch bending effects are too extreme for my taste. I will most likely buy it. I own the Boss eBand and highly recommend it for the preset backing tracks and COSM Amp Models. It has a few other features like a guitar trainer, tuner, etc...

@echo14344 жыл бұрын
My only criticism of the sound of the pedal is that the harmonized sound doesn't sound that much like a real guitar - with a very synth-like tinge to it. The Eddie dive-bomb type effect is quite impressive and very close to authentic, but something is slightly off. I think a lot of it is the somewhat "fake" sound that is being outputted. I'd really like to know if all the settings you showed could be "toned down" somehow on the pedal itself. I know you could make your own dry/wet mix with additional steps, but I don't think I want this pedal if that artificial synth-ish output sound is simply part of everything it does, or was it something you had turned up a little extra?
@michaelmac1798 Жыл бұрын
That's what I thought, because each part of the harmony is at the same volume and that can't be changed, in the way if each guitar part was recorded seperately can be changed.

put it in the loop.
@harryliem24198 жыл бұрын
just like what vlupone said, put it in the FX Loop... if your amp doesn't have any FX Loop.... then you should buy yourself a Distortion/Overdrive Pedal in front of your amp... and place the PS-6 after that pedals.. The idea is, to put your Harmonizer after the PREAMP (Drive).. In your case, you placed the Harmonizer before the PREAMP.
@fierro77718 жыл бұрын
Luis Guillermo Sinisterra i just bought this pedal. you need 2 seperate amps for this pedal to sound good for harmonies. otherwise it sounds like shit. just figured this out. no effects loop needed

4:36-6:20... Master the stye of Van Halen much? Pretty sure you are the top Van Halen "impressionist" I've ever heard, never heard anyone else play his style so fluidly and without the slop and inauthenticity that plagues almost all people who try to imitate him. The funniest thing is you didn't play one lick of VH, but the style itself and the masterful execution of it stood up and announced itself. Amazing, you are the best - please demo every pedal that is out there - too many people who make demos have no idea how to play! :)
