Thanks for a great set of videos, I was struggling with this pedal since, at first, I thought that it was nothing more than a glorified looping pedal, but, since I bought it I realised it was much more than that. I sing, Play Sax and guitar, but, usually to backing tracks, it looks like this pedal, along with the RC600 can replace my mixing desk, amp. as long as I have active speakers. It seems to also replace some of my older pedals that I have relied on for years, save the TC Helicon Voice live, which listens to the music, and makes sure that my singing is in key. I've probably sung my songs so many times through that system, I'm not sure if I am still singing out of key, but your videos have shown me how to identify that, and if I need to carry on with that pedal or not. As an extension, that is also, more crucially, true with my sax, because saxophones are notorious for being out of key. I doubt if Boss can overcome these issues without bringing out a version 2 I don't think that firmware can overcome the issue, unless of course we can set up another mic input, in my case, or use the second mic input. Perhaps Boss can find a solution

Yes, any Vocal pedals using auto-harmonies are still needed, as well as a few other peices of external gear ... the 600 can do a lot, but there are limits, possibly by design ... Imagine if a pedal can do all of this, as well as what your TCH pedal or a Boss VE pedal does.... they would lose a lot of money if the RC600 was all you ever needed .... LOL

Thank you kindly for the tutorial! Question - on the second part of this video you said you assign a knob to select which track to control. How would I assign knob 2 to current track select and knob 3 controlling the volume of the track selected? This would involve not needing an expression pedal. Thanks!!

Hi Matthew ! In the current firmware version (v1.21) , there is no option for "Current Track Level" .. and so the best available options are what is shown here ... hopefully future firmware versions will add that capability ...

Can rythmn start in the headphones only... and then be brought to a main output with a pedal push. If so, how do I program this?

I do not believe it is currently possible to change routing via Assigns or button/switch settings ... Routing is a pre-configured, pre-determined setting that is not adjustable on the fly ... There are some great tricks however, that could make it seem like you've done this...
