This pedal is a staple on my board. I love shimmer mode and it’s pretty much always set to that. It adds “air” to my second signal path which has the SY-1 on an organ setting to get a great pad sound under my main acoustic sound. Love this pedal.

I love the shimmer mode too, with bass eq is my fav setting. It's absolutely a value for money pedal.

Monday Worship, I ordered the Mathews Effects Astronomer Reverb because I saw a So Will I tutorial (cant remember the channel) anyway it sounds great but the second reverb did not work I thought of getting another after returning but I love Boss, Ive never had an issue with a boss pedal, do you think with the RV6 shimmer I can get close to the So Will I reverb, I just checked out your channel and subscribed you are awesome God Bless

Is shimmer still a thing ? Not sure if it was anything other than a trendy gimmick. At any rate the standouts are really the plate hall and modulate .. it’s also handy having a delay quickly available. The rest are due for an update. Love boss !

This is a good demo. I have this pedal and my thoughts are, it’s good for subtle verbs that sit behind your tone but no good for the kind of epic verbs I can get from some VSTs. The tone knob tends to need to always be rolling off the tinny hi end rather than expanding the sound. With that in mind it’s pretty decent but maybe not as flexible as all those modes it has may suggest.

I don't understand why people prefer the Tc hall of fame... It has toneprints but they sound almost the same; and if the knobs are like the Corona, flashback and mini hof, the range/taper is weird and unprecise

​@@PerryFrank Thank you for your help. I only play in the church (Brazil). The rhythms are very varied, I think it would be a 'pop rock' and a ballad. The use would be basically to play in church. I'm in doubt between the 3 pedals (but where I live they don't exist in stores... so I only know the sound on the internet)
