You actually like how they made the characters look in Devil May Cry 5? The gameplay was the same as always, the story was okay, but heavy on the fan service, Nero looked like a dork, and Dante was an old man with a different face and head shape compared to previous games. The only problem I had with DMC2 was that I didn't like Dante's clothes and the gameplay was exactly like DMC1.

Even as someone who'll readily stand up for Konami like me knows the reference that it's what the K company stood for. Well, if there's one Japanese VG company which had the experience of being caught doing Black Company shenanigans, that's Konami all right, so the reference fits since this story has a Japanese background. They had that phase. What, you think I'm gonna deny any wrongdoings just because I like to stand up for them? (For the record, I don't think workplace abuse happened in K Company, so they're still lightweight than 2015/2016 Konami... or even Blizzard. Maybe Keiichi being forced to do sales is similar, but then again at least it's not janitor, and he's still given a lot of freedom) That said, I think the problem here is just Matsumoto and Tanaka. I feel that K company, knowing how much the two costed the whole thing, fired them and started cleaning up. They may not be able to match the indie company's quality, but they will try to do better. Heck, one day, the CEO may even contact Keiichi and Yui, asking for a collab. And since Keiichi had no hard feelings on the CEO, his issue being on just Matsumoto and Tanaka, he gracefully accepts and takes care of the negotiation. Yes, after the controversy and staying the heck away from angry gamers, Konami found themselves helping indie devs. So that's why I don't hate them as much... but I'll still remember 2015/2016 as their dark days.

Afterstory: after Matsumoto's lies was discovered, he was fired and the ex girlfriend broke up with him. Frustrated, Matsumoto drank himself to death and was reincarnated as a side character in a RWBY story on wattpad and was abused and neglected by the Rose/ Xiao Long/ Branwen family. Unfortunately he didn't survive beacon's initiation as he was eaten by an alpha beowolf. They were only focusing on UI system and didn't care about anything like Keichi did, so the CEO has a meeting with Matsumoto and Tanaka. CEO: Mr. Matsumoto, i finally find out that all of this idea were all Keichi-kun's proposal. Tell me, why did you do it? Matsumoto: W-Well... h-he's incompetent! There is no way he can get any proposals from his mind! CEO: You idiot! Don't you realize that Keichi-kun is competent than you?! Matsumoto: Huh?! What do you mean?! CEO: Keichi-kun is working hard to gain your approve, but you ended up stealing his proposal! All of everything you two did is illegal! Tanaka: I-Illegal?! CEO: Indeed! Stealing someone's proposal is a crime! That is plagiarism! Matsumoto: W-Well, sir! Give us a second chance! We'll make sure we- CEO: SHUT UP! The CEO's voice was loud enough to make Matsumoto and Tanaka to shut their mouths. CEO: It is too late for forgiveness... Tanaka: Those that mean? CEO: Leave this company now. Matsumoto: B-But- CEO: YOU'RE BOTH FIRED! Matsumoto and Tanaka: F-Fired?! CEO: And i will sue both of you for plagiarism! I will contact Keichi and let him know that you two will get sued! And so, Matsumoto and Tanaka ended up getting sued by Keichi with the help of CEO of K company in the court. Of course, Keichi is the winner of this case, both Matsumoto and Tanaka lost their jobs and has to find another job to pay their debts. Both Matsumoto and Tanaka were find another jobs at another gaming company, but they turned them down. So, their savings are now low. And one day, Matsumoto and Tanaka ended up running away from debt collector leader and his mens who were working with the Yakuza. Debt collector leader: Hey Matsumoto, Tanaka! You two shall pay all of your debts from the court! Matsumoto: N-NOOOO! PLEASE LEAVE US ALONE!! Tanaka: WE DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY FOR ALL OF YOU!!! Men in suit 1: NO MORE EXCUSES, YOU TWO! COME BACK HERE!! Matsumoto and Tanaka were hiding from debt collectors in order to survive, the two of them were giving up their home and lives on the street. And as for Keichi and Yui: Keichi: Yui, ever since we won the award, will you go out with me? Yui: Of course, Keichi~! Yui burries Keichi's face on her breast. Yui: You like this, don't you~?
