I appreciate that Lee Zhongmou was man enough and put his pride aside to do a press conference and expose his vulnerability in that way. However Lee Zhongmou brought this on himself. I agree with you 💯 👍 they all bullied her, the entire drama and both brothers used her for different reasons. Xiang, only helped Wutong because he wanted to get back at Li Zhongmou, also liking Wutong only made LZM angrier. Li Zhongmou wanted to control Wutong because she was the mother of his child and he was concern about how Wutong actions would look upon him. Basically she was a pawn in their jealous/envy game.

It also takes a stupid person (or perhaps a psychologically unwell person) to keep taking their abuser back. Forgiveness IS a wonderful thing but there are way too many women in chronically abusive relationships who have been fed this line of “if you love them, you have to forgive them” with the silent addition “and you have to accept their ongoing abuse”. No. They do not. She can forgive him but not want to ever be in a relationship with him. I’m tired of these toxic Chinese dramas normalizing abuse.

This mother destroyed everyone and everything. She took Tong Tong from his mother where he rightfully belonged (changing name, taking custody with no visitation rights, being mean yo the kid, etc.). Kept badgering her son to get rid of her and how nasty (although wrong) she was. Wu Tongs life was tortured by the mother. So wrong. She finally has a chance to keep her baby and not have it ripped from her. The fact that Wu Tong forgave so easily shows she was/is too naive. I actually liked the model/actress girl.

Like neither of the deserve her and she was too naive in some parts. That Toxic Mother was just too evil and she doesn't deserve her ex back either, like she was so mean-spirited that she held on to hatred for 30+years depriving her son on tender love and care. None of them deserve forgiveness, they needed an episode of all of them begging to get her to even see them...

She should get custody of her son and the new baby and live a life free of these toxic AHs.

Yeah. I’m glad the drama puts him through so much before he even finds her. (The morgue scene must have been a gut punch to the character-hope he feels guilty!). Se que todos nos conmueve el lado romántico de la serie, pero ¿en realidad nos damos cuenta de todo lo que esto implica? El la maltrató de la manera más vil y luego se arrepiente porque sabe que ella no tiene culpa de nada pero mientras la cree culpable nunca la busca, la empujó estando embarazada sin importar la vida que ella llevaba en su vientre que creo que si una persona tiene buen corazón por más rabia que tenga en el momento no atentaria contra la vida de nadie y mucho menos una mujer embarazada. Es muy fácil pedir perdón cuando todo ha pasado. Creo particularmente que no debería volver con un hombre así porque cuando la crea culpable de algo volverá a hacer la misma bajeza.

What is all his BS about fate and wishing on stars?! Where is his sincere apology for what he has done and that he has changed? He literally says I’m sorry and forgive me-but doesn’t explain what exactly he is sorry for, and how he has changed, etc. that is a pretty bland apology.
