Bossa Brunch "Berimbau" (Brazilian Jazz Trio)

Vocalist/guitarist Julie Kelly and I had our first gig together! She invited her long time friend Mary Fettig (who has quite a resume with many famous jazz musicians, including playing alto sax & flute in Stan Kenton's Orchestra) to sit in, and I'm so glad she did! Julie handed Mary and I chord charts to her tunes; as you can see we are sight reading and improvising our way through "Berimbau". It was a great November day for an outdoor gig in Santa Barbara! Next Bossa Brunch Julie and I do at Santa Barbara's El Encanto Hotel will be Dec. 1, 11:30am - 2:30pm
