15:42 I read about this beach resort that was having a huge problem with feral dogs acting aggressive towards the tourists. (Large packs of feral dogs are a huge problem in some places.) Some resorts were just trying to kill all the dogs, but the population just kept bouncing back. So this one resort decided to take a handful of these dogs that were non-aggressive, and make them the official resort dogs. They got them vaccinated, neutered, fed them, taught them to politely take treats, the whole nine yards. Their handful of tame, polite dogs kept away the packs of aggressive dogs, because the resort was now their territory. Genius solution, everybody wins, including dogs!

4:14 wow, that doctors door handle surprises me. Yes, great idea for keeping kids from opening the door, but it also keeps anyone in a wheelchair or with a growth restrictive condition like dwarfism from opening the door too. Kids will always have an adult with them to keep them safe if they try to leave the room but people with disabilities may be attending the appointment alone (or may even be the adult who brought a child to an appointment) and it's impractical, demeaning and unsafe for them to be trapped in a room until someone else lets them out. It should be shocking to see a medical facility display such cluelessness over accessibility and disability accommodation, but unfortunately, in my personal experience, it's way too common for medical facilities and services to be very lacking in their provision for disability. You'd think they would be the most accessible places because surely they should be expecting a large number of people with either long term disability or short term incapacity of some kind, but even in the most basic things like disabled bathrooms, I have found multiple hospitals where their designated disabled bathrooms are not actually big enough to get a wheelchair in and shut the door, so lack of thought about a door handle really doesn't surprise me

7:50 Why would someone have a vending machine for condoms in their bedroom? How do you get a vending company to restock it? I have so many questions.

You can sometimes buy used vending machines. My husband bought a whole Pepsi machine off Craigslist, many years ago. He was tired of buying beer for all his friends, so he put it in the vending machine and they had to pay 50 cents. They thought it was so cool, they didn't mind paying! 😁 A vending machine should come with the key to open it, otherwise it's pretty useless. We currently have a gumball machine, with the key. The whole thing's on a spindle, the top comes off, then the part with the candy, and the money is in the bottom.

It’s a used vending machine that’s at least 22 years old, because the coins depicted on it were phased out in 2002.

The “upside down pentagram” on the church windows makes me think of Eastern Star. My grandfather, uncles and cousins were in the Masons and my mother, grandmother and aunt all were in the Eastern Star. The butter is white. They add dye to it to make it yellow. My uncle said when he was little it was his job to pop the packet inside the bag and squeeze the dye to make the butter yellow.

You'd be surprised. My mom once washed a tablet in the washing machine. When she got it out, there was water visibly moving around inside the screen. It was wild. She was actually able to get it to turn back on, believe it or not. But it wouldn't connect to the Internet after that.

When I cleaned out my mother's appartment, after her passing, I found the hospital receipt for my birth in 1953. Very similar prices. Apparently she kept everything, including my baby teeth and locks of my hair from my first haircut.
