I got really annoyed at Meryl's dying monologue (so I was getting really bothered throughout the game haha. Bear in mind this was like my 47th playthrough), so I took turns shooting her with Wolf. Eventually, you get a mandatory codec call where Colonel says you're not the man they wanted for the job. I'd never heard that line before - it's always fun when you find another detail in the game. Though, as far as I'm aware, it doesn't have any effect on the rest of the story. No, THAT came from when I gave in to Ocelot in about 0.21 seconds because I wanted stealth camo. I really was a son of a bitch this time around.

The only Metal Gear game that had any super dark elements was 5 but that was because it was supposed to have a serious tone. I wish that they would bring these games to switch because the Metal Gear franchise needs a bigger audience. Most rated M franchises are pretty crappy nowadays but those franchises are things like Call of Duty and Assassins Creed which get new games almost every year. Metal Gear and Bayonetta rarely get any releases which is a sign that the games are well made, if you have to pump out a game every year the game doesn’t have time to get lots of needed polish. The M rating shouldn’t be a turn-off, it’s all about the quality of the franchise’s games. But I can see why you prefer to play games that are rated E because the audience is focused on all age groups.

+Weggorino Metal Gear isn't a franchise any sort of company can pick up and just continue. Sure you could say Platinum Games, but MGR was completely different from any of the other installments and I think now what fans want the most, or at least what *I* want the most is for the old MGS to come back as well as the story. Sadly no one would be able to actually continue MGS without Kojima, mainly why they're probably doing jackshit with MGS. Perhaps they aren't doing anything with it now but I'm pretty sure burying Metal Gear would be a terrible idea financially and the company would have to be run by a 2 year old for them to even consider that. If they started doing terribly they'd have no other option but to remake MG2 or MGS and if they've already buried the franchise they'd basically be fucked. I suppose I'll repeat this. It would be in their best interest financially to remake MGS and/or MG2. Not only would they gain some respect from the fans if they manage to do it right, but they'd also gain a fuck ton of money. But hey, all we can do is speculate. But how I see it, Konami might be rough around the edges and might be greedy assholes, but I don't personally think their dumb.
