Hmm, a "souls like game", with a character named Lady Maria. Who wears very similar apparel and is familiar aesthetically and shares the quick fighting style of Lady Maria who is from a Soulsborne game. Also Maria's connection to flame? I distinctly remember her plunging her Rakuyo into her chest at which point it turned into a blazing blade of doom! The DevilHunter is completely correct. As for DeathtoRaiden1, "oh shit I can't think of a legitimate argument, better question his age!

Her name is Maria because that is the most common female name in the Iberian Peninsula and the further back in history you go the most common it becomes, especially in this time period, it's iconic. She uses that weapon, be it a rapier, a saber or some other type of basket-hilted sword because it was the popular personal defense weapon in pretty much all of Europe at that time, just like the Katana was for Japan since it was invented. There is no connection to the fucking flames, she alludes to the phrase "the flames of war" a saying older than i even know and constantly referenced to in media. As for her fighting style, she is literally a rehashed Ninja Gaiden boss with 70% of her moveset copy pasted from that game, and i do mean copy pasted, it's the exact same animations reused. So no, there is no fucking connection, or influence, or homage or what ever the fuck you children want to call it. I asked how old he is, because SoulsShit is the Halo of the 2010s. And just like they thought Halo invented first person shooters back then, now they think that Souls is the source of everything related to games where the character uses a melee weapon.

I mean, I love me some good old Sanada Yukimura, but you have no idea how much I would love to see Fuma Kotaro in any of these 3 DLC, but that probably won't happen, and I was really sad to discover that one of my favorite characters, which is Katakura Kojuro was dead in this DLC, so I really have no idea what to expect, besides a fight with Sarutobi Sasuke and Yukimura himself.

The period of Nioh still had Spain still in its Golden Age. Spain's decline doesn't start until after the 30 Years War when it also also lost Japan with the Dutch expulsion of the Spaniards and Portuguese and the imposition of the Tokugawa dictatorship. Also, it's really Holland, not England, that caused Spain's decline. After the 30 Years War, Holland stole Spanish colonies in Asia, Africa and America and managed to secure piracy lines to attack and sack Spanish galleons as well as the remaining colonies of Spain. England helped, no doubt, but Holland did all the real, and very messy and bloody to the point of genocidal, work.

*[These Bosses were pretty god damn Tough, I guess in terms of difficulty I'll say]* 1. *Lady Maria* ~ This is possibly the only fight in Nioh, I recall be able to die in less than a minute due to how freaking Difficult she was, I will say I was pretty under leveled and that could be why, but I had 44 Body and was using a Divine Odachi, new Fav weapon BTW. It was satisfying beating her, as she was one of those bosses that took me a few hours to beat. Hope we get a Round 2 in the Next DLC 2. *Date Shigezane* ~ Once again, I was under leveled for this boss, The mission said I should be level 150 but I was only 112 but I thought Hey I beat Hundred eyes and that mission was supposed to be Level 145 so what could go wrong, this boss destroyed me so bad I literally had to respec to see if I could try a Kusarigama build. It made it only slightly easier, I had to be near perfect as I could be 2 shot at any moment, this guy was pretty much the Ludwig of the DLC. A good introductory boss that will show you this DLC doesn't fuck around. 3. *Date Masamune* ~ As much of a Badass I found this guy, he was not as difficult as I would've liked him to be, he still manage to catch me off guard and that lead to just a few deaths but I beat him on my 8th try. But his Armour, Weapons and Guardian Spirits are DOPE. 4. *Katakura Shigenaga* ~ Every Souls-like DLC, is bound to have one bad or easy boss, and even though I feel he wasn't too bad of a fight, I still beat him on my first try despite I even accidentally wandered into the arena. I will say this though, His intro is amazing simply for the fact that you get a trophy if you listen to him XD.

Well, I found Masamune quite difficult with all the phases and stuff, the phase with the water buff kept getting me. I would definitely put him over Maria (more predictable for me) in my list. Shigezane first no doubt, that guy wiped the floor with me lol

After trying with a different build I see what you mean, when Masamune buffs you have to find a way to break his guard otherwise he kicks your ass if you try to get up close and personal.

What i like about the Nioh boss fight is that you don't always have to deliver the killing blow and instead keep the character for further plot development, which is always a bummer when you got no choice but to kill EVERYTHING in DS for the sake of killing a damn boss

Yes I believe so because that region comes after when you finish the game and the main storyline. The story in the DLC takes place after the main storyline

El Mayo Zambada yeah you have to beat even the hundred eyes to reach the new area. but pvp etc you can play immediately after loading the dlc.
