FF7 Rebirth - Terror of the Deep Boss Fight

Am I the only one that thinks this boss is ridiculously over powered?

He way too many abilities that interrupt the flow of combat. From the water prison no jutsu to the tail swipe to the fucking water spout twister. On top of that he has a second phase where he can make several smaller spots spread in random place. I think they needed to take a few of those abilities off the table. I don't mind a challenge but this was just too much I think. There's room to use protective spells or debuffs. I had to keep switching characters cuz he fucking locks on to whatever character you're controlling like a laser guided missile. It's annoying. If they're gonna have all theses broken attacks. At least have him switch up who he targets.

Doesn't help that you can't attack him most of the time unless it's with barrets weak ass gun or aerith

@@glennhunt5967 Barrett’s ATP builds the fastest, so I use him as a healer and cast Thundara every opportunity. Also, his Catastrophe Limit Break makes up for his lakk of attakk power.

Use your magic keep your MP up….give Thunder/Thundara to all party members….use it to get them out of the water prison and on the boss to quickly stagger it

The classic Final Fantasy ATB system and the more Kingdom Hearts-esque 3D action have been mixed like oil and water here. Also, I love how the characters swear plenty, but the game shies away from showing any blood with the action.

How can you change the party in the demo to Barrett and Tifa? Red & Aerith are utter shit and go down almost instantly. By the time you get to this in the game you probably have many chances to become stronger instead of the weak ass weapons and skills in demo version of this making it almost impossible to even hit never mind defeat. I will buy this game only because it is Japanese and therefore immune from the woke horses**t but the demo can f**k off.

lol git gud I guess Excited to see future bosses! LOVED the difficulty of the Shiva/Chocobo/Leviathan/Bahamut/Omega gauntlet in the first one, hopefully there’s something like that. The first game’s hard mode felt perfect.
