The name of this boss is a mistranslation: "Jirafu" is an old fashioned japanese name, but in modern japanese it means "giraffe". It was obviously meant to be called "Long-Arm Centipede Jirafu".

Leo Dabess his biggest weakness to posture damage is the jump kick. If you parry his entire flurry, he does a sweeping move. If you jump kick him, you deal about 60% of his posture bar instantly.

Once you beat this guy, left of the temple/door you cant open just yet is a small opening that leads to some items, jump down, go into the left route and there will be another yellow gunpower, going back to the hole but taking a right makes you leave the cave opening to get 3 more items, divine confetti, a prayer bead and 3 balloon of souls.

I can't be the only one that thought this fight was one of the easiest mini-bosses. His combos have a rhythm that really easy and satisfying to deflect once you get it down. Almost like playing a rhythm game.

Blood Starved Beast is fucking terrifying in early game. High poison damage, near one-shot grab attack that's also pretty much confirmed to poison and kill you if you manage to survive the damage from the grab. It moves pretty quickly too.

This mini boss beat me the first 3 times because I freaked out due to his speedy attacks, but this is one of the few bosses out never had to cheese. He's too aggressive for his own good and if you're good at deflecting and timing dodge jumps, his posture will be done in no time

How do you get this far and you play like that? This boss exists as a litmus test to prove yourself against enemies that are hyper aggressive and your skill at deflecting. I know everyone can play how they want, but you’re cheating yourself out of learning deflection and a lot of fun the game has to offer.

No, they are just from the Centipede clan (yeah, that's a thing in Sekiro). The Centipede leaders of particular areas are called "Long-Arms" and they are distinguished name, like Giraffe and Sen'un.

Just deflect every attack he throws at you; it'll mostly be him just wildly swinging his arms and occasionally throwing in a perilous in the second stage, so you can just spam deflect and you'll be fine. That is not even a joke, just spam deflect. You can jump over the perilous and hop on him for even more posture damage. You don't waste spirit emblems and it fills his posture bar very fast.

2 years late but I wanted to add that posture builds up even when deflecting, but it has a slower buildup than blocking and your posture will not break when it’s full, whereas simply blocking attacks will break your posture.

I believe this is the easiest boss among any soul games.. I killed this in first try zero damage.. Keep deflecting his fast combo and that's pretty much it.. He is dead lol you'll need to jump when he does that swipe attack but it's easily avoidable
