If you have a saber protecting you, he can be really effective in HVV. A few tips I have for Bossk in HVV. 1. Try to throw your mines while the enemies aren't looking (an enemy that sees your throwing motion can easily tell where they are located), and then try to bait the enemy into triggering them. 2. If a saber user is after you, roll backwards, and launch micro grenades at their feet. 3. If the other team targets you, it might be time to switch to someone else (same can be said for any blaster hero or villain). I find that I either dominate, or get destroyed when using Bossk in HVV. It all depends on my teammates, and the other team's strategy.

For me, Bossk is the most difficult hero to find a set-up for, almost all of his cards are useful except for one or two

In my own experience, especially since I only play HvV, most saber heroes aren’t very smart when approaching a Bossk I personally use Multi Traps Name Your Poison and Lingering Dioxis. When anyone approaches you drop your mines and gas while you spam your jump, you can then use Predator Instincts to deal damage through their blocks as they retreat, Using the mines and gas this way makes it so you regain about half the damage they’ve done to you as you’re actively fighting them

It’s a nice method, probably the best idea if you want to play him regularly in HvV. I absolutely LOATHE the mode with a red-hot fiery passion because it’s completely broken. And I just can’t bring myself to play Bossk like Fortnite on steroids. It absolutely offends me on a visceral level. 😂 But hey, if it works and you enjoy yourself, that’s what matters.

What settings for this view that shows your characters entire body? Not sure how to explain it but I've been seeing this view where you can see your characters entire body and not just half of it, and your surroundings are wider as well

On PC you can change Field of View (FOV) settings. On console you can’t.

Yeah, that’s the only drawback. It’s kind of a pea-shooter up close, that’s why he’s less viable in HvV. If his micro-grenades or mines knocked people down like Han’s detonite charge it would be a way different story.
