Is there a difference in grants like if you wanted to start a transitional living facility.

Yes, there are different types of grants. Capital grants can help pay for property or large purchases, there are some general operating grants that pay for unrestricted expenses, and program grants pay for mostly programming costs.

Ask as many questions as you need to! For most grants you will need to have 501c3 status as a public charity in order to apply. Whether you can apply isn’t much determined by the type of grant, it more so depends on what the funder’s requirements are.

@@BossonaBudget Both. The companies I have seen for both is $2800 plus. I was thinking and hoping for $1200-1800 and to keep in mind that I will be sending a lot of people to that person to do the same thing.

yes, that seems pretty steep, but they might be including other services and then you're likely paying for lawyers which tend to have high fees.
