He actually announced at a game I went to a few weeks ago. Very weird, not sure why they brought him back for 1 game. Definitely a legend though, I'll never forget the BEEERGERON call he would make.

Amazonite, I think the Bergeron call was by radio play by play commentator Dave goucher, but he’s gone as well, working for the golden knights now

Amazonite You must have been at charas 1500th game cause i remember him being on the mic when i saw it on youtube. Unless they couldnt find a replacement so they brought him back until they do

Yeah it’s bad enough we lost Rene Rancourt now Jim Martin’s gone, the sounds of my childhood are all retiring, which to be far I am 35 years old haha

@Thomas Lynch Well as long as rask is in net we won’t win another cup. People can call me a rask “hater” all they want and actually this is one of the few times the term “hater” is appropriate because I do hate him in terms of on the ice (I’m not going to attack the man personally because I don’t know him) his numbers in games where his team faces elimination speak for themselves. He can’t handle it when the lights are the brightest. I also being a born and raised Bostonian don’t appreciate someone who doesn’t have the emotional investment we as fans do. His laissez-faire attitude whenever he loses doesn’t fly with me. It’s like he treats a SCF game 7 loss the same as a preseason game. I’m a fully disabled combat veteran so I have a unique perspective about his choice to quit on his team but I’m not going to go there right now. I just wanted to point out it’s not a coincidence that the one and only Stanley Cup we’ve won in my 35 years as a B’s fan (and alive for that matter lol) was the year they decided to go from rask BACK TO Thomas!
