Astro Goal Horns Well I’m pretty sure they’re train horn was real. I have friends from Boston and they remember when they moved from the garden in mid 90s to the new building when they started using the train horn. They had a whole ceremony thing opening night at new arena where they took the horn out of a retired subway train and put it into the arena. They were season ticket holders cause it was cheaper to be ones back then so I’m taking their word for it and Bostonians I’ve asked. As to why they changed it they say it was because the train horn valves broke because the horn was already old when they started using it since it was from one of their oldest subways. That’s atleast what I know about it🤷🏼‍♂️ Whether it actually was real or not it still sounded better then that current crappy generic one that every European and most minor league teams use.
