Hell yeah!.. I was just saying to myself that it sucks that don’t do none of things they used to do for the finals, they should should bring back the intros through the big trophies, the big Larry O’Brien trophy on the logo, it really sucks this current way!

THAT'S HOW OUR CELTICS KICK OFF OUR NBA FINALS RETURN WITH A BANG against Luka, Kyrie (who's now lost his last 11 games against Boston), and the rest of this Mavs team 💥! And as a result, our playoff win streak in this year's playoffs extends to 8 games which is A NEW FRANCHISE RECORD! This is the 8th time this playoffs that Boston has held their opponent to under 100 points. We love seeing our clutch defense make a BIG TIME IMPACT no doubt! Boston has set a new NBA Finals record with 7 players making multiple 3-pointers in a game as well. We love to see those 3's draining in for us again as we lived enough by the 3 in this one as we went 16-42 (38.1 percent) from downtown. After missing omnia last 10 playoff games due to his right soleus strain in his calf, IT'S THE GRAND RETURN OF OUR BELOVED LATVIAN UNICORN, KP 🇱🇻 🦄 (20 PTS, 6 REB, 3 BLK), as he came off the bench with a Lou Williams mentality, but as a backup big man. He's the first player in NBA Finals history THIS CENTURY to put up 20+ points & 3+ blocks off the bench in a single game & he's the ONLY PLAYER to achieve those stats in under 25 minutes played. All of our starters (the same starting lineup throughout the entirety of the previous 2 rounds) did good enough jobs as well, so I don't really need to mention their stats this time. But JB still needs to fix his free throw shot as he went 6-11 at the line. And hopefully we can learn how to stay low on turnovers and keep the ball away from any Mavs players offensively, because we WERE about to become traditional chokers once again as Dallas, at one time in this game, cut our lead down to 8 at the very least. Other than that, I'm satisfied with our game 1 performance in this one. We did a very nice job overall of drawing first blood in this year's Finals, and now, IT'S ONTO GAME 2 ON SUNDAY! WE'RE GETTING CLOSER TO PUTTING THE CHERRY ON TOP OF OUR GREAT SEASON! THAT'S 13 W'S DOWN! 3 TO GO & BANNER 18 IS OURS!
